There are a multitude of pleasures in the world, and many do in fact surpass the one of watching a bad legislator decide that it’s no fun anymore and that it’s time for her to go home. But this is still a happy thing to see. Oh, sure, it’s supposedly an impossible district for us (although Cook is now scoring it as Lean Democrat*); but whoever replaces McCarthy would still be an improvement. Probably.
