'This Cruelty Must Stop': Pramila Jayapal's 'Trans Bill of Rights' Is As Ridiculous As You'd Expect

Far-left Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D–WA-07) is out with a spanking new “transgender rights” bill — because, as she insists (lies), America is up to its transphobic eyeballs in an "escalating political campaign” against so-called trans people.

And, of course, given Jayapal's favorite of pastime of slamming the country she serves, at every concocted opportunity, the "Squad" member is accusing decent Americans across the fruited plain of using "trans" people as “scapegoats,” and demanding that lawmakers “send a clear message that trans lives matter.”

On Tuesday, Jayapal and co-sponsor Sen. Edward J. Markey (D–MA) trotted out a dusted off version of their latest passion project — the so-called Transgender Bill of Rights.”

Here's Jayapal, in all of her radical-leftist glory:

Too often when we discuss trans rights, we're on the defensive, discussing how to protect trans people from horrific Republican attacks — and how trans people can live authentically in our communities.

Today, though, we are not on the defensive; we're looking forward — with the trans bill of rights. We are laying out a comprehensive vision to provide protections for transgender and nonbinary people; a vision that insures that every single person has a chance to thrive. A vision that says 'You are us. You belong and you are worthy of the same rights as everyone.'

OK stop the tape.

What rights do non-trans people have that so-called trans people don't? Name one.

First floated in 2023, the charged-narrative-driven legislation promises protections for transgender and nonbinary Americans on everything from medical interventions to preferred pronouns, housing, and beyond.

In other words, the Democrat Party is once again trying to fix problems that most of us were unaware existed. That is, before the Democrats created such non-existent  yet divisive problems.

Jayapal continued:

This bill supports amending the Civil Rights Act to ensure that trans and nonbinary people have the same rights and protections as all other Americans. It creates a level playing field where trans people no longer have to fight tooth and nail to get the same treatment as their cisgender friends.

Creating inherent protections for trans people when it comes to schooling, housing, accessing credit and health care, expanding community services and mental health services for trans people is what it takes to ensure that trans people have full equality. Where we can celebrate trans rights rather than fight for every single right at every turn.

Here's how we should translate this:

While tens of millions of hardworking families continue to grapple with inflation, crime, the disastrous consequences of former President Joe Biden's four years of virtually welcoming illegal aliens to waltz across the border, Jayapal’s priority is expanding Washington’s gender bureaucracy — while lecturing voters who don’t buy the Left's identity politics.

Then again, Democrats are beyond fond of lecturing Americans period.

So here's deal: The message here isn't about equality at all; its about the Left trying to force its radical ideological conformity on the sane among us, while doing it's best to silence dissent.

I mean when you can use the restroom of the opposite sex just because you pretend you've switched genders, it is an interesting "right." Moreover, given the obsession with identity politics on the Left, I'm wont to suggest that in many cases, members of the LGBTQ+ community appear to have even more opportunities than so-called "cis" people, do they not?

So much nonsense, so little truth.

Whether or not Jayapal has a screw loose, is woefully confused, completely delusional, or simply dishonest, again the question begs to be asked. What is she talking about? What constitutional rights are trans people being denied? The questions are plenty; the answers boil down to this:

When Democrats win, they do so by stitching together various disparate groups via the same old tactics: the politics of fear, class, race, gender, sexual proclivities, and other issues meant to polarize voters, and attract those who buy into their concocted hyperbole.

For his part, Sen. Markey chimed in with the same old meaningless slogan: "Trans rights are human rights."

Again, what does that even mean?

All Americans are guaranteed equal rights under the U.S. Constitution, and equal protection under the law, although I'd argue — again — that Americans in "protected classes" are, if anything, more protected than the rest of us. Disagree? Tell me why.

Incidentally, all lives matter.

Then again, when we suggested that all lives matter during the "Black Live Matter" riots ("peaceful protests"), the Left lost their collective minds. Expect the same reaction from them here.
