As ICE agents continue the potentially dangerous initiative of identifying, catching, and ultimately deporting illegal aliens, leftist Democrat political figures across the country continue their efforts to thwart the legal removal of illegals — including ordering local or state law enforcement agencies to refuse to support the federal government's efforts.
And in perhaps the worst example of attempted interference with the federal government's efforts, Democrats on the House Committee on Oversight launched a new tracking system in late November to document possible misconduct and abuse during federal immigration enforcement operations under the Trump administration, according to Rep. Robert Garcia (CA-42), who is the ranking member of the committee.
Moreover, innumerable nongovernmental leftists have tried everything from doxing (searching for and publishing private information about specific individuals on the internet, typically with malicious intent) to swatting (placing bogus emergency calls to first responders, often falsely reporting a crisis at a specific location). The goal of swatting, of course, is to provoke a significant law enforcement response, create chaos, and potentially, violence — which is exactly what many of these twisted malcontents want to happen.
So, yeah, in what I referenced as a "genius plot twist" in my headline, a saloon in Idaho on Saturday announced "free beer" to anyone who helps ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) identify and ultimately deport illegal aliens.
I'll drink to that! Even if it's a Diet Coke.
The Old State Saloon in Eagle, Idaho, ignited a firestorm with a post to X, in which it made the announcement:

Hear that?
The sound of left-wing heads exploding in the Gem State — and no doubt elsewhere, wherever leftists continue to do their damnedest to interfere with the federal government, at the direction of President Donald Trump, rounding up illegals and sending them packing.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reposted the saloon’s promotion with a GIF highlighting their amazement with the offer. The bar enthusiastically replied, "Let’s go! Deport them all!"
One user responded to the announcement, asking if the saloon could create a leaderboard and champion a "Deporter of the Year" at the end of the year who wins even more free beer.
At least one person has already been approved by the saloon. The establishment posted that Ryan Spoon, vice chair of the Ada County Republican Central Committee in Idaho, would receive free beer from any of its 20 draft options after he provided evidence that he helped ICE make an arrest.
Anyone trying to claim free beer is asked to send evidence, including photos and videos, to [email protected].

Meanwhile, I think I'll hit up a couple of my favorite watering holes in a bit and see if I can get that free beer thing going in these parts. Seriously, though, this story is yet another example of how many on the right can have fun while doing the right thing, while many of our pals on the left are too busy bitterly catastrophizing and attempting to scaremonger the bejesus out of all us — beer drinkers included.
