Disgraced CNN host and co-author of the controversial "Original Sin," Jake Tapper, took his shamelessly shilling book tour to HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher" on Friday.
Not only did Tapper have a bizarre discussion with Democrat Rep. Seth Moulton (MA) about former President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline and who was to blame for the cover-up; he also trotted out the usual CNN two-step when directly asked by Maher who we should blame.
It was classic Maher (the "good" Maher, as it were) and classic serial-lying Tapper, who incredulously continues to throw every leftist on the planet under the bus for frantically attempting to hide Biden's mental decline. At the same time, Tapper is also doing his best to try to weasel out his own responsibility in aiding and abetting the worst presidential scandal this country has ever seen.
And we likely don't even know the half of it, yet.
The festivities began when Moulton recounted an incident in which Biden appeared not to recognize him during their time together while visiting Normandy.
Although Moulton later emphasized his own efforts to persuade Biden to withdraw from the presidential race, he didn't publicly mention the episode until July — after Biden’s disastrous debate performance in late June effectively ended his reelection bid, as Democrat lawmakers increasing deemed him to be a liability for their party.
Maher then directly asked Tapper:
So, you said ‘blame’ before, who do we blame? I feel like people are Yoko-ing the wife. I feel Jill Biden’s getting the Yoko treatment. Maybe she deserves it, but Yoko didn't break up The Beatles.
Incidentally, perfect reference to Yoko Ono by Maher. While many Beatles fans blamed her for the break-up of the band, it was actually George Harrison who wanted to leave the Beatles to pursue his own music that led to the break-up. But I digress.
Not only did Tapper rush to absolve his co-panelist of any blame on Friday, he absurdly and lamely tried to deflect blame away from himself and his fellow TDS-riddled "journalists" in lapdog media:
I think there are any number of people who are part of this decision to hide how bad it was, not only from the media, not only from the public, but also from cabinet officials, from people in the White House, from Democratic lawmakers, I mean, there was a period 2023, 2024 Democratic lawmakers barely saw the president.
Yes, I think it was Jill Biden, I also think it's Hunter Biden. I also think President Biden has agency here too, we aren't saying it was "Weekend at Bernie’s"… Like, he had moments where he was non-functioning, but he understood what was going on. I mean, we saw him earlier today. He can speak and talk, if he were here right now, he’d talk for 10, 15 minutes and be fine.

Just one problem, Jake.
Tapper knew every bit of the above and more for months, if not years. Given his faux pursuit of "journalism," why didn't he and his Trump-loathing comrades report what they knew when they knew it? Why is Tapper just now at least dancing around the edges of what everyone who saw Biden in public at the time also knew?
These questions are of course rhetorical.

Meanwhile, Tapper continues to audaciously trot around the country — monetizing his lies while blaming everyone except himself.
Funny, isn't it, that Biden did the same thing — in his own lying way.
