Sometimes, ABC's "The View" is just too hysterical to pass up. Tuesday's episode was one of those times. Blowhard cohost Joy Behar not only claimed silent-films-era comedian Charlie Chaplin was responsible for the rise of Adolf Hitler; she also again compared Donald Trump to the Nazi madman.

In a truly bizarre exchange, Behar blamed former President Obama for endangering the world because he made fun of former President Trump at a dinner — in 2011. That's right, the deranged cohost claimed that Trump's drive to become president started with Obama and left-wing "comedian" Seth Meyers making fun of Trump at the 2011 White House Correspondents' Dinner. She screeched:

He is probably the most dangerous. So you have somebody like – and he doesn’t have a good sense of humor — we all know that at the correspondents’ dinner, when President Obama made a joke about him, his skin is thinner than his hair, and he got so pissed off that he had to run for president and go after poor Obama, who was running this country. He’s a menace. So … I present that to the panel: What are you supposed to do?

Ah, the venom. Spectacular, isn't it? 

Can you imagine waking up every morning and hating someone — someone who has zero impact on your miserable life — so much that you allow yourself to become consumed to the deranged point you spew stupid crap like Behar spews daily? Me, neither.

Then came the real irrationality:

They made fun of Hitler. Charlie Chaplin made fun of Hitler in 1940, by 1945 millions and millions were dead! ... I don't know what he'll do next. I mean, I could make a joke about him and he'll annihilate the whole world!

Delusional? Of course.

Joy Behar has every reason to be terrified of the former president, albeit not for the insane reasons she claims, considering just the following two realities.

As I reported on Saturday, a record-breaking number of illegal aliens crossed the southwest border in December 2023, according to data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). A stunning 371,036 illegals were caught entering the country, breaking the previous record of 341,392 set in August 2023. Even a growing number of Democrat politicians are now turning on the spectacularly failed president over the ever-deteriorating disaster, while all Biden cares about is playing politics with the crisis that he intentionally created and purposely made worse. 

Moreover, as my colleague Nick Arama reported on January 14, Biden continues to face historically low approval ratings. According to a then-new ABC poll, just 33 percent of respondents approved of the president's job performance — and the numbers were even lower for the Biden economy. 

The Bottom Line

So here's the thing. Yes, Joy Behar's ridiculous, and Joe Biden's going down — but not because Donald Trump is Adolf Hitler reincarnated, as Behar phantasmagorically sees him.
