Some people just can’t take a joke. More specifically, hypocritical, thin-skinned liberals, who not only can’t take a joke; they also tend to devolve into hyperbolic fits of rage when the joke’s on them, yet are perfectly fine with ridiculing conservatives, with many of their “jokes” hateful, personal, and vindictive as hell.

That, gang, is the height of hypocrisy. Then again, the left’s hypocrisy knows no bounds.

In today’s example, a gaggle of left-wing women grew outraged and heckled a female comedian (comedienne, as it were) during a recent show when she began to make jokes about TikTok phenom Dylan Mulvaney — the terribly disturbed dude who excruciatingly pretends to be a teenage girl.

All hell broke when a couple of geniuses in the Bud Light marketing department thought it’d be a great (woke) idea to pay the “influencer” to display Bud Light cans in his repulsive TikTok videos. Yeah, no. As Bud Light sales plummeted, company execs only made it worse.

Anyway, as reported by Fox News, stand-up comedian Chrissie Mayr recently headlined a comedy show at Hyena’s Comedy Club in Dallas. The comedian, known for irreverent and politically incorrect humor, was blasted by the aforementioned gaggle, while others in the audience fired back, ridiculing Mulvaney. My initial thought as I began to write this article was “Damn, I wish I’d been there to enjoy the festivities!”

Mayr mocked Mulvaney for identifying as (pretending to be) a female, yet never committing to undergoing “gender reassignment” surgery despite insisting he’s a teenage girl for more than a year.

As Mayr continued to question Mulvaney for not having a “sex-change” operation, a (conservative, no doubt) member of the audience shouted: “Because he’s a man!” An incensed (left-wing, no doubt) woman disagreed, indignantly firing back: “No. She’s a woman!”

Mayr reacted by saying, “Uh oh, uh oh, we have one of those.”

“Why has it been a year of girlhood and still no t**s? That’s day one,” Mayr said, adding that if she (Mayr) transitioned to a man, she’d get the largest “male genitalia” she could find. So, “Why no t**s for Dylan? I don’t understand.”

Masterfully, Mahr then skewered the heckler with a misdirection joke (emphasis, mine):

No, it’s all good. We can all have different beliefs, it’s okay. Some of us can believe in reality and some of us can’t. This is America; we should have different beliefs — it’s all good.

That blast blew the top off the incensed woman’s head, so she and her fellow lunatics got up and stormed out of the room — with the rest of the audience applauding as they left in a snit fit. Mayr later said the women violently stormed out of the venue, knocking over her merchandise table on the way out, adding that the women “went straight to management to complain.”

She then correctly observed:

This is the conflict when it comes to comedy and leftists. It’s just not compatible.

And there it is. 100 percent, dead-on right — or “left,” if you will.

So why is it that leftists can’t take a joke — about themselves? 

Multiple reasons, my years as a political writer suggest. First, as the axiom says, Republicans think Democrats are wrong, while Democrats think Republicans are evil. And, as Ronald Reagan observed: “The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they’re ignorant; it’s just that they know so much that isn’t so.”

Toss in the reality that radical leftism is driven primarily by irrational emotion and unrealistic visions of silly utopianism that doesn’t exist and never will — Thank God — and you’re getting damn close. That is if you include blatant hypocrisy and the eagerness to regularly lie one’s ass off with impunity.

Ya know, while our side is far from perfect, how’d you like to wake up bitter every morning, then spend your day searching for evil conservatives doing or saying evil things? Then, at the end of your day, go to bed, bitter, and wake up the next morning, only to rinse and repeat? How much must that suck?

The Bottom Line

Given the left’s efforts to destroy virtually every aspect of American society, from morality to faith to public education, the U.S. military, and the country itself, it’s conservatives who have every right to react in anger.
