It’s been a rough stretch for Massachusetts Democrat Socialist Sen. Elizabeth Warren. First, after making an incredibly ignorant comment about Elon Musk and his income taxes, Musk proceeded to beat on her like a cheap set of drums. Now, preachy, “fully-vaccinated” Warren has tested positive for COVID.

Let me first be clear. I am neither “glad” Warren tested positive for the virus, nor do I wish her anything but a full and speedy recovery. Unlike the vile comments on the left after it was announced on Sunday that Washington State Sen. Doug Ericksen (a Republican) died on Friday after battling COVID.

One such attack against Ericksen — from a former Democrat congressional candidate (Shocked? Me, neither.) — was so disgusting I’ll just leave it here.

Anyway, Warren made the announcement in a single tweet late Sunday afternoon, offering scant details.

I regularly test for COVID & while I tested negative earlier this week, today I tested positive with a breakthrough case. Thankfully, I am only experiencing mild symptoms & am grateful for the protection provided against serious illness that comes from being vaccinated & boosted.

Call me a cynic but Warren wouldn’t admit her symptoms were beyond mild if they were. Wouldn’t wanna rain on the vaccine any more than necessary, you know.

As reported by The Hill on Friday, Warren was part of a group of more than 80 Democratic lawmakers who called for more than $17 billion to fight COVID globally.

A letter signed by Warren and other Democrats read, in part:

Now, the world faces yet another variant, Omicron, which may be even more transmissible than the Delta variant.

We must end this cycle by prioritizing getting shots in arms around the world as soon as possible, especially in low- and lower-middle-income countries, which do not have the resources to vaccinate their populations.

Is this where I ask Elizabeth Warren if “shots in arms” work so well, why she is now COVID-positive?

Am I gloating? NO.

On the contrary, it has been Warren and the Democrat Party, and emerging and infectious diseases “expert” Anthony Fauci, all of whom have preached to the rest of us from the early days of the pandemic that if we just do everything they tell us to do, from masking to lockdowns to vaccines, we will effectively get COVID-19 (under control, if not vanquish it to the point of insignificance.

There’s a bit of hyperbole in there, of course, but not that much. You get the point.

And that point is nonsense.

As I suggested in a Saturday article titled Shameless Fauci Considers Replacing ‘Radioactive’ Word ‘Mandate’ With Kinder, Gentler Term, we are going to have COVID colds or the COVID flu in our lives from now on. COVID variants and associated vaccine boosters will ultimately be viewed by the general public much the same way seasonal flu strains and flu shots are viewed.

Yet the hysteria on the left continues. Here’s a disturbing example:

Pfizer and BioNTech on Friday said in a press release that a two-dose regimen in vaccine trials with kids has not delivered desired results, and as a result, they have now begun to test three doses on kids as young as six months old. What is that?

Other than little human guinea pigs, that is?

One would hope that COVID Karens like Elizabeth Warren, after all the left-wing hysteria, would realize that hysteria for what it has been, given that her symptoms remain mild, as she suggested in her tweet.

Then again, that hope would be for naught. Facts don’t matter on the left; they never have. Narrative matters. How many times have we seen that with Fauci? And Biden doesn’t matter — he remains clueless.

Given that COVID is most likely here to stay, the only real question is how long the left’s hysteria will stay here with it.
