MSNBC Host Rips 'Angry White Man' Bill Maher for Criticizing 'Hamilton' Creator

Let’s just go ahead and mark MSNBC host Tiffany Cross down as a “maybe” for HBO “Real Time” host Bill Maher. Truth? The black host of “The Cross Connection” is not a fan of “angry white man” Maher. Cross teed off on the acerbic comedian-turned-political-pundit on Saturday morning — after admitting she hadn’t even watched his show, this week.

Before we continue with Cross’s “Maher meltdown,” as I reported on Saturday, Maher blasted Google and Facebook on this week’s show for suppressing the Wuhan lab-leak theory, which continues to gain credibility. He also torched Google’s admission that it tries to steer users to the CDC and the World Health Organization, as well as YouTube for removing Bret Weinstein‘s podcast about ivermectin, a potential COVID treatment.

So back to the cross Miss Tiffany. “Bill Maher has been wack for a long time,” she told viewers on Saturday before noting she hadn’t watch this week’s episode.

“Maybe he said something highly offensive again last night, I don’t know. I stopped suffering through that stale clumsy monologue and painfully out-of-touch show a long time ago.

“But I did see a clip segment of him complaining [about] Lin-Manuel Miranda apologizing for the lack of Afro-Latino representation in his movie ‘In the Heights.’”

Miranda, the creator of Broadway’s “Hamilton” and most recently, the film “In the Heights,” came under heavy “incoming” earlier this month from the left for not including more dark-skinned Afro-Latinos in the film’s cast, especially in the leading roles. Miranda of course caved in like a cheap tent, doing what liberals always do when they come under fire from their brethren: he busted out the trusty “I’m sorry and I’ll try to do better, really I will” schtick.

After “mini-rant one,” Cross played a clip of Maher mocking Miranda and his apology on a previous episode of “Real Time.”

“Please, stop apologizing. You’re the guy who made the Founding Fathers Black and Hispanic! I don’t think that you have to apologize to Twitter! For f**k’s sake. This is why people hate Democrats.

“I mean, he’s a Latino making a Latino movie with a Latino cast — not good enough! Nothing is ever good enough for these people! They’re like children.

“We don’t raise our children right and it’s reflected in the media. No one ever tells their children, ‘Shut the f— up, sit down, listen to your elders, stop bitching.’”

Cross, of course, defended Miranda’s “gracious” and “appropriate” apology before really tearing into Maher.

“Bill Maher, you do not get to tell people of color what they should, or should not, be offended by. Stay in your lane, slim.

“This old, angry white man act is so played. “The country, like it or not, is changing in real-time. And sadly, ‘Fake Time’ with Bill Maher is not.”

Ooh, she’s mad.

Cross went on to whine about Maher’s “mostly white” weekly panels, “where he sings sob songs to them about the perils of the shrinking demographic and chides anyone who falls even slightly outside of his myopic, privileged view.”

Lemme just go ahead and stick this in here, now, and get it over with:

THE HYPOCRISY OF THE LEFT KNOWS NO BOUNDS

“Stay in your lane.”

How to put this tactfully… “stay in your lane”… what the hell is that, Miss Cross?

Do you have a lane? Do I have a lane? If you can tell an “angry white man” to “stay in his lane” because you disagree with him, can I tell “angry black” you to stay in your lane because I disagree with you? Why not? Rhetorical question — don’t bother.

Speaking of your lane, why is it just fine for you and other black people in “your lane” to castigate black Americans who refuse to stay in the lane you think they should be in — dutifully living their lives on the liberal plantation? And those who refuse to do so? Why is okay in your lane to call them “Toms,” “house negroes,” and worse?

Isn’t that racist as hell, Miss Cross? If not, why not?

We could go on, of course — the list of examples of the left’s hypocrisy and various “assigned lanes” is virtually limitless. But why bother? Arguing with a liberal is like wrestling with a pig in the mud; you both get dirty and the pig loves every minute of it.
