As Donald Trump might say, “It’s true… it’s true. Sleepy Joes runs from reporters’ questions like the plague. That I can tell you… if you want to know the truth.” And Trump would be spot-on if he said it.

During a Joe Biden and Kamala Harris ballot-access signing event on Friday in Joe’s adopted state of Delaware, handlers quickly sent reporters packing without allowing so much as a single question.

For the THIRD day in a row, press are shuffled out of a Biden-Harris event without the chance to ask questions.

Friday’s bizarre end to Biden’s latest public appearance — which are rare, given that he spends most of his time shielded in his basement — marked the third day in a row that Joemala refused to answer questions from reporters.

As my colleague Sister Todjah reported, Biden’s handlers on Thursday ushered reporters away like cattle as they tried to ask questions at the conclusion of a “virtual briefing” with public health “experts” on COVID —at which Biden and Harris sat six feet apart.

And during the Wednesday press conference to introduce Harris as Biden’s running mate, the Democrat duo quickly walked away from cameras after finishing their comments, completely ignoring questions from reporters. Biden lied to told reporters: “We’ll talk about that later.”

GOP Rapid Response Director Steve Guest asked, rhetorically: “Why are Biden and Harris terrified of the press?”

The answer? Because Team Biden is scared to death that Joe will be Joe and make some gaffe-tastic comment that only Joe can make, and Harris will be Harris, lying about deflecting questions about her radical left-wing positions.

I reported on one such left-wing position, Friday; Harris’s recent cosponsorship of the Climate Equity Act bill with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, which Harris heralded as a “fight for justice and equity” and a precursor to AOC’s nonstarter Green New Deal.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump — who has been skewered by the “mainstream” media from the moment he and Melania rode down the Trump Tower escalator on June 16, 2015, to announce his candidacy — on Saturday called Biden’s anathema for questions “very strange.”

Trump was being coy, of course.

He knows full well what’s “going on.” Liberal media sock puppets are working hand in glove with the Democrat Party to protect Biden — and now Harris — from himself; themselves, as it were.

The bottom line:

Protecting Biden is a necessary evil for left-leaning reporters who know they’re being played — and they’re gladly playing along, albeit increasingly disgruntled about being shut out. Why? Because this campaign is far more about all things against Trump than for Biden.

As a result, the Democrat Party and it’s liberal media shills will do everything in their collective power to protect Biden from himself, including locking him in his basement, ushering away reporters like cattle, and if all else fails, duct-taping his mouth closed.

And the duct tape? “Sleepy Joe” would probably love every minute of it.
