Green Day the aging, Punk Rock Band from the 1990’s that just won’t grow up or go away performed their new single “Bang, Bang” at the American Music Awards. They also lead the crowd in a chant: “No Trump! No KKK! No Fascist USA.”

So very edgy. Green Day opened the night by making penis jokes on the Red Carpet and ended it by chanting “No KKK!”. The members now look like soccer dads dressed up for Halloween than Punk Rockers raging against the machine. I’ve heard there was a day when Punk wasn’t so commercial, but if Green Day is any indication those days are long gone. Once again rich white guys are on TV are telling half of America that they’re bad people. What could go wrong?
