Earlier today, I criticized Rubio for not going after Donald Trump with the same gusto as Ted Cruz. I am glad to note that, per multiple sources Rubio started today striking a much more strident tone against Trump on the campaign trail. As reported by MSNBC, Rubio said of Trump today that “building a casino does not count as foreign policy experience” and that unlike Trump, he would not “embarrass the country” as President.
He also apparently joined the attack on Trump’s expansive views on eminent domain:
Rubio says what Trump tried to do in NJ would be illegal in FL because of law he helped pass

And criticized Trump for behaving like a buffoon, and not laying out any serious policies:
Rubio tells crowd in Beaufort he and Trump have “behavioral differences,” adding that Trump hasn’t laid out any serious policies.

So, credit where it is due. Rubio has joined the fight against Trump, who hopefully now can enjoy some time under fire from actual Republicans, instead of the staged fire he draws from the media in order to dupe his followers into believing that he’s a conservative.
