RFK Jr. Forces a Long-Overdue COVID Reckoning on Dana Bash and CNN

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. entered the lion's den that is CNN on a Sunday morning, and he was looking for pelts.

The Health & Human Services Secretary unleashed a tirade worthy of his flame-throwing boss in a media takedown for the ages.

RFK Jr.'s victim? Dana Bash. You might recall that her name featured prominently in "Fauci's diary."

They got into it hot and heavy when Bash predictably went on offense against Kennedy.

Bash: "Covid was a scary time."

RFK: "You were scaring people."

Bash: "Why are you saying that?"

RFK Jr. ripped into CNN over "scaring people." He pointed out, "that was the job of CNN. To put the chyrons up on how many people are dying to get people to believe a lie."

Kennedy then laid into Bash for pushing the "trust the experts" line as a way to close off legitimate argument.

RFK just called out Dana Bash for the media's role in lying to America about covid:

As we now know, the "experts" got it wrong. Spectacularly wrong.

It seems that those who believed they were on the side of good felt justified in pushing alarmist narratives in order to coax the American "herd" into adopting COVID pandemic measures even if it "saved one life." But another fatality in this media campaign was the truth.

Meanwhile, millions of Americans rejected this paternalism and simply wanted the facts and scientific debate to inform a sensible public policy response. Instead, they got fearmongering and hysteria from CNN and other media outlets.

It was next-level. Nearly from the inception, the media uncritically pushed the line "15 days to stop the spread."

As we know from Dr. Deborah Birx, that was a lie. In her book "Silent Invasion," she wrote "No sooner had we convinced the Trump administration to implement our version of a two-week shutdown than I was trying to figure out how to extend it. Fifteen Days to Slow the Spread was a start, but I knew it would be just that."

CNN would feature its rolling COVID fatality counter throughout the pandemic. It was used to justify lockdowns, masks, and mandates, while avoiding critical context that would lead to a more sensible public policy debate.

The "6-feet-of-social-distancing," Fauci would later admit, simply "appeared" as if from out of nowhere, and was not based "in science."

If you are grown ass adult defending Dr. Fauci and his ridiculous Covid rules in 2026, then do all us all a favor and watch this.

Dr. Anthony Fauci's hearings, along with his "diary," have provided an opening for the American people to more dispassionately assess what went wrong and how we can keep our country from repeating the same mistakes again.

As RedState's Nick Arama reported, Dr. Anthony Fauci invoked the Fifth Amendment multiple times during his appearance before Congress.

“You've done more to harm science than anybody in my lifetime," Sen. Josh Hawley said. "And I hope you'll go home and write that in your diary."

Trust the experts? No, we should trust in the U.S. Constitution. We don't get fooled again.
