Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) took out his frustration on a fake Fauci "troll account" after a tense Senate committee hearing.
The troll account posted a charged summary of the hearing on Wednesday.

"Good vs. Evil," the account wrote.
Sen. Paul fired back with a facetious jab.

Dr. Fauci pleaded the Fifth Amendment an incredible 111 times at the hearing.
Sen. Paul informed the public that the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee will hold a vote on whether to hold Dr. Fauci in contempt of Congress.
“That’s a vote that will happen in committee next week. It will be in contempt of Congress,” Paul told reporters after the hearing.

“We believe that with his … immunity from criminal liability, that he didn’t need to hide behind the Fifth Amendment and that maybe the Fifth Amendment doesn’t attach when you have a pardon in place,” he added. “That’ll be a legal question, but the question on contempt will be voted on, and then there’s a question of whether or not the Department of Justice will take that up.”
Criminal charges for contempt of Congress, according to 2 U.S. Code § 192, could lead in rare cases to prison time.
Every person who having been summoned as a witness by the authority of either House of Congress to give testimony or to produce papers upon any matter under inquiry before either House, or any joint committee established by a joint or concurrent resolution of the two Houses of Congress, or any committee of either House of Congress, willfully makes default, or who, having appeared, refuses to answer any question pertinent to the question under inquiry, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not more than $1,000 nor less than $100 and imprisonment in a common jail for not less than one month nor more than twelve months.
As I explained elsewhere on RedState, presidential pardons likely remove the justification for witnesses to withhold testimony from Congress by citing the Fifth Amendment.
But Paul was not done ripping the fake Fauci account for the pretense of the public servant being on the side of "good."

Whether or not this social media theater is as important as the political theater in Congress on Wednesday comes down to a simple question: Will Fauci be held accountable?
