The tide of the gender-denial movement has been rising, and while we’ve all looked on with bemusement and occasional scorn, the progressive Left has been making more and more moves into the mainstream as they seek to redefine gender.

Tuesday was apparently #InternationalMensDay…isn’t every day international men’s day? I was thinking it was a day for men to put on long coats and monocles and walk around being all fancy and international. The ACLU had quite a different interpretation, and instead took the occasion to inform all of us ignorant rubes out here that men get periods and give birth.

I’m sick of this and it’s time to say enough is enough.

It is time for good and reasonable people to push back against this nonsense. This is not science. It is not biology. This is complete and utter delusion. Statements like this deserve to be roundly ridiculed and soundly scorned.

I’m not going to take the time to get into the scientific reasons why men are men and women are women. It is astoundingly absurd to even consider making the “argument” because there is no argument. Any “argument” out there is conjured from thin air. The anti-vaxx crowd has more science to back up their claims and they don’t even have a lot of it.

This is weak sauce, an absurd attempt to strip us of our most basic common knowledge and deconstruct the most successful society on the face of the planet. There is no reason at all to any of this.

We cannot acquiesce to this absurdity.

The results are morbid and no matter which way you slice it, the gender-denial movement ends up hurting and basically erasing the group of people considered most vulnerable in political circles – women.

Men who identify as women are beginning to dominate female sports. That’s not a phenomenon you see in the reverse. There is no outcry about women identifying as men beating teenage boys in the 200m race or pulverizing male MMA athletes. Is it because women who identify as men don’t play sports?

NO. It’s because men are (typically) physically superior to women – not in the aesthetic sense; everyone knows the female form is far, far, far superior to the male form – but in strength, speed and general physicality. That is why we separate men’s sports from women’s sports. If the men can compete against the women that will be a very lopsided spectacle. These trans athletes aren’t better athletes than the world class women they’re defeating, they’re just…men.

But not only are women (again, not on the man’s side, but the woman’s side) forced to accept men into their sports, they are also literally told to shut up when they express an opinion about it.

We cannot acquiesce to this absurdity.

Bringing life into the world is one of the unique joys and pleasures of being a woman but now we see groups like the UK’s NHS instructing their hospitals not to refer to pregnant women as such, but to call them “pregnant persons” as to be inclusive to those men who can give birth. So we get erased from what is inarguably the most woman-like thing about being a woman. Fan-flipping-tastic.

We cannot acquiesce to this absurdity.

Getting a period is maybe one of the most annoying things about being a woman and we’re not even allowed to claim that for ourselves anymore. Now we have to share that with manhood.

To reiterate, we are not having any of these conversations around the idea of women erasing “male culture”. You’ll notice the ACLU isn’t tweeting stuff like “Women can get penile erections! Women can get testicular cancer! Women are toxically masculine!” The men aren’t worrying about any of this because it is nearly impossible for women who identify as men to overtake and overwhelm male culture. There aren’t enough of them and, at the end of the day, they’re still women, so that’s how male culture reacts to them whether it’s conscious or not. This is a female problem and it’s a big one.

Look, I’ve got no problem with any man or woman who wants to change everything about their shell to match what they feel is on the inside. I think it’s unhealthy, but we can still go get a beer and hang out and they’ll still have my full support as a fellow American and human being. Everyone deserves to be accepted in love exactly where they’re at. But as it is not up to me to foist my personal beliefs about their choices upon them, it is not up to them to foist their gender delusions upon me. This is a two-way street but as far as I can tell right now, the cars are only running in one direction. This is a denial of logic and science and these are the same people who will tell you “creation” theories should not be taught in school because they are not backed by science. You’d think that plank in their eye would be getting uncomfortable right about now.

This nonsense is infecting our schools, our workplaces and our public discourse. We don’t like to feel like the bad guy, and I think most conservatives (and certainly libertarians) are like me…we just want you to live your life your way and let us live our way. We do not want to be scolds. The problem with “live and let live” is that the “livers” aren’t at all satisfied to leave the “let-livers” to do just that.

It’s time to push back. When this language is perpetuated we must point out its absurdity. We must not be afraid to stand against anti-science, gender-denying insanity. There is strength in numbers. Your daughters, your mothers, your girlfriends, your wives…we need you to stand up and say “NO MORE”.

Enough is enough. We cannot and absolutely should not acquiesce to this absurdity.
