The Kavanaugh hearings have descended into madness and I for one would like off this nightmare carnival ride. I can only imagine Brett Kavanaugh’s family feels the same way.

As I sat watching the early questioning I found myself thinking:

What in the hell am I watching right now????

Here I am, watching a SENATE HEARING on CAPITOL HILL and what are the most powerful people in our nation talking about? Yearbooks.

Hours and hours of testimony and pontificating about…yearbooks. And calendars. And beer. And the teenager inside jokes about flatulence and the F word.

Think about all the dumb things you thought were funny when you were a teenager. Imagine being forced to explain your dumbest fart jokes in front of a senate committee and the whole nation 35 years later.

This whole thing is just an excuse for free airtime for 2020 campaign speeches and talk show soundbites.

Lindsey Graham was right – this is hell. This is nothing but a damn, dirty circus act and it needs to end now. It is unbecoming of our political process, our pride as a nation and our humanity.
