Just hours before President Trump launched missile strikes against strategic Syrian targets failed Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton told an interviewer that she believed the United States should strike Syrian airfields in defense of civilians. NBC tweeted the clip and many on the left see it as a sign of Clinton’s “wisdom” in foreign policy.

This could be a sign of Clinton’s tragic wisdom, but it seems more like a sign that action in Syria is agreed upon by a wide spectrum of spectators. Not only is it a message to Assad…a real red line, it is a direct address to the issue of Syrian refugees. We can’t expect to house the entire population of Syria. At some point someone has to deal with the evil that is the Assad regime…in the name of humanity.
