Racially Woke Starbucks CEO "Forgets" That Company Gives to Planned Parenthood

On the afternoon of May 29th, slurp giant Starbucks closed more than 8,000 of their stores in order to take their employees through “racial bias” training.


As you’re well aware, two black men, who had been waiting for their friend, were arrested in early April at one of their Philadelphia locations. The uproar was immediate and extreme. Because of the incident, the company decided to teach their employees about their bias and deep-seeded prejudices.

Starbucks strives to be socially conscious, racially aware, and super woke. They really care, guys. More than everyone else, they care.

One inconvenient truth in the midst of all that caring and racial sensitivity? That Starbucks gives to Planned Parenthood. And remember, Planned Parenthood gleefully takes part in killing unborn humans of every color.

Black babies are targeted most of all.

While the percentage of blacks in the United States is around 12.6%, they make up 28% of all abortions. It gets even worse in places like New York City. In 2012, the number of black babies aborted exceeded the number of black babies born.

Think about that. It is unconscionable.

But don’t worry, Starbucks is eager to provide funds to make sure this continues. You’ll have to remind the CEO, though.

In an interview on FOX News with Maria Bartiromo, Starbucks CEO and head social justice warrior, Kevin Johnson, just couldn’t remember what his super-woke company even does.

Bartiromo: “I don’t know if you saw Martin Luther King Jr.’s niece op-ed in the Washington Examiner. And she said, ‘If Starbucks wants to end racism it will stop funding Planned Parenthood.’ Are you going to stop funding Planned Parenthood?”

Johnson: “Well I am not aware that we, we do fund Planned Parenthood. So. I haven’t read the op-ed and I can’t comment on that.”

Bartiromo: “OK.”

Johnson: “But, I am not aware that we do that.”

Bartiromo: “Well, Alveda King says [so]…

Johnson: “Well, I am not aware of it.”


Not long after, the Washingon Examiner added this note to the top of the referenced piece.

Starbucks disputed the premise of this piece in a statement, noting that its contributions to Planned Parenthood are part of the company’s charitable matching gift program. A Starbucks spokesperson told the Washington Examiner: “Starbucks does not have a corporate relationship or sponsorship with Planned Parenthood. Starbucks is listed as a donor of an organization because the Starbucks ‘Partner Match’ program provides matched cash awards for contributions made by Starbucks partners (employees)…

You still happily give to Planned Parenthood, Kevin. There’s no talking your way around it.

The matching donations tell us a few things:

First of all, it reminds us – again – that Planned Parenthood does not need taxpayer dollars. At all. They receive millions upon millions in donations, including those matched at Starbucks. In 2017, the amount of private funding they received totaled $532.7 million. That’s only slightly less than they received from the Federal government.

Secondly, the existence of these matching funds shows just how much Starbucks truly cares about truth and morality. Everyone knows that Planned Parenthood is the nation’s largest abortion provider. Starbucks isn’t matching contributions to any sort of life-affirming organization. They are handing over cash to a predatory entity.

Thirdly, it reveals just how much the company cares about protecting and respecting black Americans. They are quick to address a situation at one of their locations when it slaps them in the face and may cut at their profits. The incident was all over social media so of course, it needed to be addressed. Such a public spectacle can quickly erode a company’s good standing in society. This interaction was in front of others, though. Meanwhile, the company private donates to a company that seeks out black Americans for destruction.


I have no clue how this “racial bias” training will affect the future of the company. We don’t know, yet, just how it will help employees relate to the those in their communities. That kind of education isn’t a bad thing, but its impact is greatly lessened by what else goes on behind closed doors.

Does Starbucks really care about black lives? Black unborn lives? No, they do not. It’s made more than evident by their continued policy.
