Men? To the women of the pro-choice movement, you are generally useless, misogynistic pigs. Your ways bring vexation. The horrid practices you engage in like opening doors, daring to pay for the restaurant bill on a date, or respectfully complimenting a woman on her appearance are just the worst. You should be ashamed of these things, and you should seek to ingratiate yourself with the women in the feminist movement who just want to be seen as equals.
Dudes, if you’re looking for a truly foolish, cowardly undertaking which might make those who usually hate your gender suddenly become proud of it, try Men For Choice. Yes, this is an actual thing. It’s so real in fact that tonight, September 16, there will be an event for “Bro-Choice” men in Washington, D.C. You can join other men who aren’t man enough to raise their voice in support of unborn life, and become objects that pro-choice women fawn over.
The first thought that comes to mind when thinking of Men For Choice is the same thing pro-choice women prize the most: convenience. If the unplanned product of an encounter cramps your style, why not support the procedure which frees you from responsibility? It’s a win-win for you post-birth people, and a loss for any on the other side of the womb. You can simultaneously appear to be supportive of your woman’s feminist ideals, yet secretly breathe a sigh of relief. That money-sucking, inconvenient baby is gone, and you can go about your way, proud of both your enlightened-looking social justice leanings, and a bank account that won’t be drained by the cost of diapers. You’ve got it good.
Only the problem is that’s not what you were made for, contrary to every single thing the Left throws your way. Saline abortion survivor Gianna Jessen, abandoned by both her biological mother and father, hit the nail on the head:
“Men, you are made for greatness. You are made to stand up and be men. You are made to defend women and children, not stand by, and turn your head, when you know murder is occurring and do nothing about it. You are not made to use women and leave us alone. You are made to be kind and great and gracious and strong and stand for something because men, listen to me, I am too tired to do your job.”
I am not an activist on the scale that Gianna is, but I must say, I’m also tired. We live in a society where the mantra is “genders must be equal!”. However, the truth is we are not equal, nor were we made to be equal. Women possess strengths which men do not, and conversely, men are strong where we are weak. I routinely discuss the horror of this legal homicide known as abortion. While I believe women should speak out against the crime directed at their womb and its inhabitants, it is men whose powerful voice in support for life adds a part which we cannot. It is impossible to fill both roles, so pro-life men? You must take a stand as defenders of life, for your kind is born and aborted as well.
The cold heart of the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League (NARAL) goes pitter-patter at the thought of the spineless men who are pro-choice. When a male celebrity is vocal about abortion, the Left just swoons. NARAL listed 15 of their favorite who are pro-choice here. This list includes the likes of Justin Timberlake, Mark Ruffalo, Dan Savage, Stanely Tucci, and Alec Baldwin. This is not the greatness that Gianna Jessen speaks of. This is not the strength she referenced. This is not defending anything. This is taking the easy route by foolishly giving all worth to the woman, and none to the unborn child. We can and should celebrate the worth of both.
The faux “War on Women” will continue to be discussed in the future, and this truth should not sway pro-life men from making their voices heard. If pro-life men are branded as attacking women by standing up for them and the children they carry, then so be it. On Tuesday, the 10th video from the Center for Medical Progress exposing Planned Parenthood’s horrific practices was released.
“We’ve just been working with people who want particular tissues, like, you know, they want cardiac, or they want eyes, or they want neural,” says Dr. Westhoff to a prospective fetal organ buyer. “Certainly, everything we provide–oh, gonads! Oh my God, gonads. Everything we provide is fresh.”
This kind of barbarism cannot be tolerated, and it is imperative that men are just as vocal about it as women. Men, supporting abortion is not strength, compassion, or pro-woman. Your voice in defense of life is powerful and absolutely necessary, despite what the pro-choice movement says.
You were made for greatness.
