Well, it looks like it happened again. A biological male, pretending to be female, was awarded the title of World's Strongest Female. Now, organizers have stripped the title from the male after learning that he was born a boy.
It all started over the weekend in Arlington, Texas, where the Official Strongman Games World Championships 2025 took place. In the open women's category, officials said that unbeknownst to them, American Jamie Booker entered the competition as a female and competed.

When the top female contestants took to the podium, it was Booker who, obviously, had beaten them all, given the fact that he's a biological male with huge advantages over the biological women.
The second-place winner, UK lifter Andrea Thompson, refused to stand next to him on the stage, walking off the podium and saying something that looked like "This is bs…Can we go?" as Booker stood next to her, posing and smiling, pretending to be the rightful female winner.
A backlash ensued online against the competition, with outspoken female sports advocates like Megyn Kelly, Jennifer Sey, Piers Morgan, and more calling out the injustice.

"World's Strongest Woman is now literally a man. You can't make it up," the podcast host wrote.
Former Levi Strauss & Co. exec Sey added, "Man wins World's Strongest Woman. Woman who actually won says, 'This is [...], can we go?' Yup. That about says it all."

Morgan's post was dripping with sarcasm when he wrote, "Many congratulations to Jammie Booker, who has won the World's Strongest Woman competition in Arlington, Texas. The fact Jammie is a biological male with a massive physical advantage over the actual women competing shouldn't detract from this well-earned victory!"

And by Tuesday, organizers had done the right thing and stripped Booker of the title, awarding it to Thompson.
In a lengthy statement posted on Facebook, the competition made it clear they had no idea and would never have let Booker compete against the women if they had.
You can read it in full above, but here are the parts that stood out:
It appears that an athlete who is biologically male and who now identifies as female competed in the Women's Open category. Official Strongman officials were unaware of this fact ahead of the competition and we have been urgently investigating since being informed. An attempt has been made to contact the competitor involved but a response has not been received.
Had we been aware, or had this been declared at any point before or during the competition, this athlete would not have been permitted to compete in the Women's Open category. We are clear - competitors can only compete in the category for the biological sex recorded at birth.
Official Strongman is inclusive and proud to run events which do not discriminate against athletes based on personal characteristics. Any athlete is welcome. But it is our responsibility to ensure fairness and ensure athletes are assigned to men's or women's categories based on whether they are recorded as male or female at birth.
Now, how the competitors knew, and anyone with eyes knew that Booker was not a female, and the organizers didn't, I don’t have any answers. But kudos to them, once it all blew up in their face, they did what was right and rightfully awarded Thompson the title.
But here's the thing. Will a ceremony be held? Will Thompson get to stand on the first-place podium to accept the honors she rightfully deserves? Probably not. That's what Booker took away from her and anyone else who thinks it's perfectly fine to not protect women's sports from biological males.
