Charlie Kirk's best friend and the executive producer of "The Charlie Kirk Show," Andrew Kolvet, reacted to all those conspiracy theories that have surfaced following the assassination of the late Turning Point USA co-founder on September 10 on the campus of Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.
During his appearance on "Culture Apothecary with Alex Clark," the two took on all those questions and rumors that have been floated since Kirk's death, including his possible Catholic conversion, rumors of a $150 million donation from Israel, and more.

At the 7:40-minute mark, Kolvet addressed the Catholic rumor.
"Was he becoming Catholic?" the host asked. Andrew replied, "No. But he really loved Catholic mass. He loved the ritual of it. He loved the beauty of old Catholic churches and stained glass."
"And one of the things Charlie really hated was worshipping at a gym or some kind of blank space that you just turn into church," he added. "He loved the ancient feel of a Catholic mass."
The two then discussed infighting in the conservative movement over Israel and internal pressure. Alex said she noticed that Kirk was "getting pressure for having Tucker Carlson speak" from the donor class. (10:00 minute mark.)
"Charlie's position on Israel was very clear," Kolvet said. "I like them more than I like Hamas. I just wish I was free to criticize Israel and not be labeled an antisemite. Because I can criticize my own government and not be called anti-American."
"Why do I have more freedom to do that and not criticize a foreign government?" he added of Kirk's thoughts. "And he was really upset that there was sort of this clamp down on the freedom of expression, the freedom of ideas, free speech when it came to a foreign government."
And "With Tucker, for example, yeah, we took some push back, we lost some donors," Kolvet continued, pointing out that what Kirk would do when he got pushback was almost dig in deeper and suggest, "Well, maybe Tucker's going to give two speeches at AmFest."
The executive producer explained that the bottom line is "Charlie was a friend of the Jewish people and a friend of Israel," but did have questions about the prosecution of the war, and "he was upset that he couldn't express those things freely without all of this pressure coming down on the organization."
The host then threw out the rumor about Israel asking, "Was Charlie offered $150 million from Israel?" (13:19 minute mark)
"As far as I know, no," Andrew replied. "By the way…it doesn't matter the amount that would've been coming down, we would've said no, because Turning Point does not — Charlie would not accept foreign money. We only took American money."

At one point (at the 24:10 minute mark), they also discussed whether Charlie's widow, Erika Kirk, believes the person who murdered her husband is the person they arrested.
"I think so, and I also think we are waiting to see if there are more details that will follow," Kolvet said. "Who knew in advance? Who radicalized him? Was there a funding network? All of that is fair and open-ended questions that we can keep asking, and we should."
"So, yeah, I am very aware that there are other theories of the case, and I would just say listen, we have to open every door, pursue every lead, and be open to being surprised," he added. "That being said, there's a pretty high level of confidence that this is the truth and that they got the guy. And now we need to see how deep the rabbit hole goes."
