When the brother and mother of the suspected Charlotte murderer say he should've never been free, Democrats need to really take a look at their position and realize they are on the wrong side in the tragic murder of Iryna Zarutska.
Speaking to the New York Post, Jeremiah (last name not specified), who shares a father with the murder suspect Decarlos Brown Jr., blasted the Democrats' soft-on-crime polices like cashless bail, which he said could have prevented the murder of the 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee on the light rail on August 22.

"I think they could have pretty much prevented it then," Jeremiah said, referring to Magistrate Judge Teresa Stokes' decision to release Brown Jr. from jail despite multiple prior arrests and ordering him to undergo a mental health evaluation instead.
"I didn't even know he had mental problems … You can't just let him walk free, especially because of mental issues," he added.
"He could do it again. They should still treat him for his mental issues but there are consequences for his actions," Jeremiah continued, sounding nothing like what Democrats and defenders in the media have said. "I think he should suffer the consequences."
At one point, he talked about how their father has a history of incarceration and said his brother was on "my father's side. They have a record of being in jail and stuff."

The Washington Post reported on the mother of the suspected murderer, and her comments echoed the brother's sentiment. She said her son should've been locked up.
In a post from White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, she quotes the WaPo piece:
"Murderer's mother: My son should've been locked up," Leavitt wrote. "Washington Post citing 'experts': Actually, locking up violent criminals is draconian!"
Earlier on Wednesday, North Carolina Republicans held a press conference, blasting Charlotte's Democratic Mayor Vi Lyles and her party's soft-on-crime policies and social justice warrior judges for the murder of Zarutska, RedState reported.
The Ukrainian refugee was killed on the light rail by Brown, a repeat criminal offender, who's now facing federal charges, RedState reported.
My RedState colleague Bob Hoge reported on Wednesday a conversation recorded from jail by Brown's sister. In it, we hear the suspected murderer speak for the first time and try to explain the reasons behind his psychotic actions. He is clearly deeply mentally disturbed.
Hoge wrote:
Unfortunately, his answers will not bring peace to anyone or assuage the pain of Zarutska's family, because they are sadly the ramblings of someone who is no longer in touch with reality. He claimed he was being controlled by some sort of outside entity:
The report:
Now, his sister Tracey Brown, 33, has shared shocking audio with the Daily Mail of a phone call she had with Brown six days after he was arrested, where he explained what was going through his mind when he launched the bloody attack.
The 34-year-old, who is schizophrenic, can be heard telling his sister he believed the government had planted foreign 'materials' into his brain and they had been in control of his actions when he pulled the knife on Iryna.
In the audio recording from the afternoon of August 28, Brown can be heard telling Tracey: 'I hurt my hand, stabbing her. I don't even know the lady.
'I never said not one word to the lady at all. That's scary, ain't it. Why would somebody stab somebody for no reason?'
He added he wanted police to 'investigate' the 'materials' which were 'controlling' him, while referring to the attacker in third person.
