Virginia Republican candidate for Governor, Winsome Sears, reacted to the idiotic Democrat official who took to social media to blame her for the disgusting, racist sign a critic held up against her at a school board meeting, the ultimate move in victimhood.
During Earle-Sears' appearance on Tuesday on Fox News' "The Will Cain Show," she was asked about the comments from VA Democrat Vice Chair for Rules, Marc Broklawski, in which he defended the critic with the racist sign who was protesting against Sears for speaking out against the school's policy to allow boys to use the girls' bathroom (and vice versa).

The sign in question, which he was defending, read "Hey Winsome, if trans can't share your bathroom, then blacks can't share my water fountain."

"What happened in Arlington wasn't just about a meeting. It was about the climate Winsome Sears is creating, one where contempt is currency and neighbors are turned against each other," Broklawski shockingly wrote. "[Abigail] SpanbergerForVA is running on something stronger: a Virginia where we solve problems, not invent enemies."

Sears was a total class act and asked Broklawski what exactly she was trying to do, pointing out that it was to make sure that children have a good education.
"It's not about your political ideas," Sears said. "Not about your culture wars. It's about simply educating the children. That's your only job."
Sears previously reacted to the racist sign, as my RedState colleague Teri Christoph reported.
I’m disgusted, but not surprised. This is the “tolerant” left Abigail Spanberger defends. I’m the sitting Lieutenant Governor, second in command in the former Capitol of the confederate states. I’m an immigrant, a Marine, and above all, a human being. There is no place for this…

I'm disgusted, but not surprised. This is the "tolerant" left Abigail Spanberger defends. I'm the sitting Lieutenant Governor, second in command in the former Capitol of the Confederate States. I'm an immigrant, a Marine, and above all, a human being. There is no place for this disgusting hatred in our Commonwealth. Anyone who doesn't condemn this sign is complicit in approving it.
During her appearance on the show, the gubernatorial candidate stated that the sign wasn't the only problem, noting that the woman had been holding the sign up in the crowd with hundreds of Democrats for over an hour, and none of them had told her it was wrong.
"They saw the sign and never once said, 'Take it down,'" Sears said.
Earle-Sears also revealed that at that very same meeting, security offered to bring her in through the back door, and she refused to hide from critics.
"I said no, 'I'm going to walk through the front and I'm going to face the same gauntlet as the folks that I'm trying to represent,'" Sears said.
And the racist attack on Sears could end up turning things in the Republicans' favor, given what Sears shared with the Fox News host about what happened afterwards.

"I was just in a store this morning, and an older black woman came up to me... and she said, I'm a Democrat, I'm not a Republican, but I'm so sorry for what they did to you, because she remembers back when all this was OK to say it,'" Sears explained, pointing out that the sign went from her to black people as an entire group.
"Folks, we can't live this way," she added. "This is not right…one group can not have more rights than another."
