President Donald Trump's administration dropped the hammer on the state of California on Wednesday for its woke madness, allowing boys to play in girls' sports and enter women's spaces.

In the press release posted on X, the Department of Education announced that the state, led by Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom, violated Title IX.

The Department's Office for Civil Rights has concluded its Title IX investigations into "California's Department of Education & Interscholastic Federation and found both clearly violated Title IX by failing to protect women & girls from sex-based discrimination," the post read.

"Although Governor Gavin Newsom admitted months ago it was 'deeply unfair' to allow men to compete in women's sports, both the California Department of Education (CDE) and the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) continued as recently as a few weeks ago to allow men to steal female athletes' well-deserved accolades and to subject them to the indignity of unfair and unsafe competitions," Secretary of Education Linda McMahon said in the release about the announcement.

"The Trump Administration will relentlessly enforce Title IX protections for women and girls, and our findings today make clear that California has failed to adhere to its obligations under federal law," she added. "The state must swiftly come into compliance with Title IX or face the consequences that follow."

The release noted that it has proposed a resolution to rectify this situation and has given CDE and CIF the "opportunity to voluntarily agree to change these unlawful practices within 10 days or risk imminent enforcement action, including referral to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) for proceedings."

The resolution states that CA schools must stop allowing males to compete in female sports and block men from women's spaces. Any schools that receive federal funding must adopt the "biology-based definitions of the words' male' and 'female,'" it added.

It said that any guidance schools previously had that state law preempted Title IX must be rescinded.

In addition, CDE will "require all Recipients, including CIF, to restore to female athletes all individual records, titles, and awards misappropriated by male athletes competing in female competitions." And to each of those female athletes whose recognition is restored, the "CDE will send a personalized letter apologizing on behalf of the state of California for allowing her educational experience to be marred by sex discrimination."

ED Sec. McMahon wrote on X that the Department of Education let Newsom "know his state's policies are in violation of Title IX several times over. Letting men beat women in their sport of choice is illegal and wrong."

"You can either stand up for women or answer to the law," she added.

During a recent track meet in Clovis, CA, RedState spoke to protestors and parents upset that the CIF had refused to hear their concerns and ban trans-identifying male AB Hernandez, the top-ranked girls' triple jumper and second-ranked girls' long jumper, heading into the finals, from the state's CIF Track & Field Championship being held in the city.

Hernandez competed against the female athletes and took home two of the gold medals meant for girls at the competition, despite President Trump's threat to yank federal funding from the state for violating Title IX by allowing the biological boy to compete against girls.

After President Trump was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States, he signed an Executive Order ending the gender insanity of the last four years, banning biological men from competing in women's sports.
