President Donald Trump has learned about the left's latest plans for mayhem on his birthday, with calls for a "No Kings" protest, and shut down the claims that he was some kind of wannabe monarch in the way only he can.
Speaking to members of the press on Thursday, the president was asked about planned protests by the liberals across the country on Saturday, June 14 (Flag Day), which also happens to be Trump's birthday--and the same day of a planned military parade in Washington, D.C., to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army.
"I don't feel like a king. I have to go through HELL to get stuff approved," Trump replied. "A king would say, 'I'm not going to get this.' A king would never have the California mandate to be talking about."
"He wouldn't have to call up [Speaker of the House] Mike Johnson and [Senate Majority Leader John] Thune and say 'fellas, you got to pull this off and after years get it done."
🚨 LMAO! President Trump just responded to the "NO KINGS" riots being planned this weekend

"No, no, we are not a king," Trump continued. "We're not a king at all."
The website Nokings.org admits its main goal is to try to annoy President Trump:
On June 14—Flag Day—Donald Trump wants tanks in the street and a made-for-TV display of dominance for his birthday. A spectacle meant to look like strength. But real power isn't staged in Washington. It rises up everywhere else.
Instead of allowing this birthday parade to be the center of gravity, we will make action everywhere else the story of America that day: people coming together in communities across the country to reject strongman politics and corruption.
RedState reported that:
They claim there are some 1,500 rallies planned, but one notable location where they will not be appearing: Washington, DC. They say they don't want to be anywhere near a "costly, wasteful, and un-American birthday parade," but, more likely, they don't want to be around Donald Trump, all the military forces that will be at the parade, and the DOJ.
Expect to see lots of purple-haired LGBTQ advocates shrieking in the streets, barechested, masked dudes running around with anti-Israel posters, anti-ICE protesters waving Mexican flags, numerous "EXPLETIVE DONALD TRUMP!" signs, pro-abortion ladies back in their pink hats, drag queens for men in women's sports, and "Queers for Palestine" along with demonstrators for virtually every other leftwing cause you can think of.
As you can expect, the usual suspects in Hollywood, who have backed failed Democratic presidential candidates, are promoting the "No Kings" event.
One such person is Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Chrissy Teigen, who shared news about the protest on her Instagram and encouraged others to protest Trump's alleged "authoritarian spectacle."
"Donald Trump is NOT our king - and on June 14, it's up to us to prove it," Teigen wrote. "Trump is throwing himself a $45 million dollar [sic] birthday party - a big military parade like some of his authoritarian idols have done."
She went on:
The White House says the parade is to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States Army, which just happens to fall on the same day as Trump's birthday.
Rubbish. Trump wants a big military parade on his birthday and is using the anniversary as a pretext. How ironic that the Continental Congress originally established an Army, headed by George Washington, to fight against the very tyranny that Trump espouses. Trump is acting like a king by defying the courts, issuing arbitrary decrees, disregarding checks and balances.
Teigen concluded her post, claiming, "Donald Trump wants a military parade so he can feel powerful. But you know something? In America, we don't have kings …"
RedState will keep you posted on this developing story in the hours and days ahead. Stay tuned!
