Greg Gutfeld Owns Legacy Media After Noticing Disturbing Trend in Their LA Riots Coverage

Greg Gutfeld owned members of the legacy media like no one else could after he noticed a disturbing trend in their coverage of the anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles.

During Fox News's "The Five," the panel was debating the media's unhinged attack on President Donald Trump over the days of riots in LA, noting that none of them seemed in the slightest bit interested in speaking to any of the protestors burning cars and attacking law enforcement.

"What I find interesting is how come the networks aren't interviewing the protesters? There's a selective shielding going on," Gutfeld told the panel. "They know the protesters are the worst spokesmen for the protest."

"So, as the media, 'we'll take care of that for you ... we will be your spokesman,'" he added. "Their delusional commentary alongside the videos of the rioters and the arson is a perfect juxtaposition of reality and ideology. Our eyes, we can see the destruction, but their mouths are trying to get into our ears, telling us it's 'mostly peaceful.'"

"But there's no better persuasion than the visual. Every video strengthens Trump's position and reminds us how wrong the media was on everything from the 'summer of love' to the fall of [former President Joe] Biden," Gutfeld continued.

RedState has been on top of the riots since they started on Friday, with our coverage of the protests that turned violent, with the rioters blocking the freeway, throwing chunks of concrete at the law enforcement officers, and burning Waymo cars.

Liberal media, along with Democrats like Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and California Governor Gavin Newsom, have tried to claim the police had everything under control with the riots and didn't need Trump to call in the National Guard and U.S. Marines.

However, LA Police Chief Jim McDonnell blew up the Democratic narrative about the "peaceful protests" and said things were out of control, RedState reported.

We are overwhelmed … There is no limit to what they are doing to our officers," McDonnell said. "And again, as I mentioned in my statement, I can't thank our folks enough and our partner agency police officials for going out there and taking care of the community."

When pressed by the media if the National Guard was really needed, McDonnell didn't hesitate and said, of the riots, "This thing has gotten out of control."

He then called out the radical leftists causing the violence, who he said were causing "one civil unrest situation to another. Using similar tactics frequently, and they are connected."

Gutfeld has repeatedly destroyed the liberal media, most recently when he eviscerated the current attempt by members of the legacy media to rewrite their part in the cover-up of former Biden's mental decline.

During the late-night show "Gutfeld!," the host discussed CNN anchor Jake Tapper and Axios correspondent Alex Thompson's upcoming book "Original Sin: President Biden's Decline, It's cover-up, and his disastrous choice to run again."

Tapper has claimed the "bottom line is the White House was lying to the press," "members of their own cabinet," "White House staffers," and more about "how bad" Biden's decline had become.

However, as Fox News's Greg Gutfeld and others have pointed out, the press can't claim a cover-up of something Americans saw daily on their TV every time Biden spoke or appeared in public.
