White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt absolutely smoked former First Lady Jill Biden for her involvement in the cover-up of former President Joe Biden's mental and physical decline and said she definitely needs to answer questions for it.
During a White House press briefing on Thursday, Leavitt said, "I think, frankly, the former first lady should certainly speak up about what she saw, in regards to her husband and when she saw it, and what she knew."
Leavitt said that anyone who was paying attention could see the apparent decline in Biden and could see "this was a clear cover-up." She said the former first lady "was certainly complicit in that coverup."
"There's documentation and video evidence of her clearly shielding her husband away from the cameras," the White House Press Secretary said. "They were just on 'The View' last week. She [Jill] was saying everything is fine. She's still lying to the American people."

"She still thinks the American public are so stupid that they're going to believe her lies," she added. "And frankly, it's insulting. And she needs to answer for it."
Oof!
Leavitt pointed to the Bidens' recent appearance on "The View" and, even that day, Jill stepped in to rescue her husband when Joe struggled to answer questions about his cognitive decline, RedState reported.
During Biden and the former first lady's appearance on the ABC talk show, cohost Alyssa Farah Griffin asked Biden for his response to books "deeply sourced" from Democrats that claim in his "final year, there was a dramatic decline" in his cognitive ability.
"They are wrong," Biden attempted to say in a garbled response. "There's nothing to sustain that number one. Number two, think of what we left with. We left with a circumstance where we had an insurrection when I started."
"Not since the Civil War," he added. "We had a circumstance where we were in a position that we ahh…well, I'll pandemic, because of the incompetence of the last outfit, end up with over a million people dying."
"And we're also in a situation where we found ourselves unable to deal with a lot of just basic issues, which I won't go into in the interest of time," Biden continued, admitting what we all already knew. "So, we went to work and we got it done, you know, one of the. Well, I'm…."
Jill jumped in because it was obvious to everyone that her husband was lost and wasn't making any sense.
The former first lady said that:
"Well, listen. One of the things that I think is, the people who wrote those books were not in the White House with us," the former first lady claimed. "And they didn't see how hard Joe worked every single day."
Jill then said her husband would "get up" and "put in a full day," and then at night, when she was in bed, she claimed he was still "on the phone, reading his briefings, working with the staff."
While she spoke, Biden didn't say a word and just sat there, either looking straight forward or with his arms folded across his chest. The hosts on "The View" were also unusually silent.
RedState has reported numerous times about the revelations in CNN's Jake Tapper and Axios' Alex Thompson's new book "Original Sin: President Biden's Decline, It's Coverup, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again."
Tapper has claimed the "bottom line is the White House was lying to the press," "members of their own cabinet," "White House staffers," and everyone else about "how bad" Biden's decline had become.
However, as Fox News' Greg Gutfeld pointed out, the press can't claim a cover-up of something Americans saw daily on their TV every time Biden spoke or appeared in public.
