Donald Trump Jr. Makes MAJOR Gaffe the Day Before Midterms

This close to a midterm election that could change the face of the country, you can’t afford to make mistakes. Yet that’s just what Donald Trump Jr. did this morning when he announced a visit to Lexington, North Carolina, to campaign for Ted Budd.

This is a pretty big deal. Even among North Carolinians, calling Lexington “BBQ country” is a controversial statement at best.

And that doesn’t even take into account the other Republican strongholds that also believe themselves to be the true barbecue country.

Just below North Carolina is a place called “South Carolina.” Rather than the use of tomato or vinegar as the base of their sauce, they go with a mustard-based concoction. While the Carolinas as a whole rely on pork as their primary barbecue protein, it is the sauce that determines where you are in that part of the country.

In Tennessee, where there is a key Senate race that is currently neck-and-neck, Donald Trump Jr. may have angered Republicans in Memphis, a city that has its own distinct barbecue culture. This culture is dominated primarily by ribs and barbecue sandwiches.

Josh Hawley may have to distance himself from the Trumps while winding up his race in Missouri, which boasts Kansas City barbecue and its unique sauce as well as St. Louis-style barbecue

Of course, the biggest risk Donald Trump Jr. takes in making his claim is Texas, which itself has a major barbecue culture. Trump’s claim could bring Beto within — oh, who am I kidding? There’s absolutely no way. Donald Trump Jr. could call a brisket an absolute trash of a meat and Texas is not going to vote for Beto O’Kennedy.

The biggest problem here, however, is that Donald Trump Jr.’s tweet made me hungry. I am writing this before 8 a.m. in the morning and already I want some ribs or brisket. Do any of you deliver?
