Former Ted Cruz Staffer Recommends Suicide Watch For Trump Aides

With the release of poll numbers that look absolutely dismal for Donald Trump, a former staffer for Ted Cruz’s presidential campaign made a splash with his recommendation for advisers to Donald Trump.

Visiting with Morning Joe co-host Joe Scarborough, Rick Tyler, an MSNBC contributor who worked on Ted Cruz’s presidential bid, said Trump aides should be put on “24-hour suicide watch.”

Via The Hill:

“All of these numbers look pretty tough, but I guess for you and me, guys who have either run in or run campaigns in Republican primaries, it’s primary numbers that I think would concern me the most and I’d guess would concern you the most as well,” “Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough said to Rick Tyler, who signed on as an MSNBC contributor after leave Cruz’s 2016 White House bid.

“Joe, if I were political consultant looking at the candidate with this kind of numbers, I’d have them on 24-hour suicide watch,” said Tyler. “These numbers are not good. They don’t look recoverable.”

Granted, polling this far out from an election is iffy at best, but Trump’s numbers have been tanking, and it isn’t just from firms that got it wrong in 2016. Some of the ones that got it right are also showing bad numbers for Trump.

Maybe North Korea helps that. Maybe not.
