As expected, Donald Trump is holding a significant lead in Kentucky as the early votes start coming in. The polls closed in a chunk of the state at 6 p.m. ET, and with the votes slowly coming in, we’re looking at a traditionally red state staying red.
CNN has the Trump with a significant lead at this time (70-28), though we do expect some fluctuations there. It is still very early.
We’ll keep you updated.
UPDATE: Trump’s lead has been slipping (though barely), however, Sean Trende at RealClearPolitics is seeing something going on in areas that should be strong for Trump.
These Kentucky returns are not at all what Trump needs.

Although the fight for Senate could go long. Though I doubt that as well.
