“Creepy Porn Lawyer” Michael Avenatti was arrested during a break in a disciplinary hearing at the California State Bar in Los Angeles Tuesday night. Avenatti, who is fighting disbarment, was taken into custody by IRS agents after allegedly violating the terms of his pre-trial release.

A source w/ the U.S. attorney's office in Los Angeles says that Avenatti was arrested for allegedly violating the terms of his pre-trial release on a case in which he is accused of extortion, theft of millions of dollars from clients, cheating on taxes and lying to investigators.

He is scheduled to appear in federal court in Santa Ana on Wednesday.
