Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley extended the deadline for Christine Blasey Ford to accept the Committee’s invitation to tell her story. The new deadline is coming up very quickly – according to CNN, that time is 2:30 PM Eastern.

As Andrea reported, the initial deadline has been pushed back multiple times, and Friday night, Sen. Grassley extended it again.

As all parents know, if you continue to extend deadlines, eventually the deadline becomes meaningless. Grassley’s compromised with Blasey and met some of her demands (which, by the way, I don’t see how she gets to demand anything).
