Hot Mic Catches Pelosi Stage Managing Muslim Congressman

Do they ever stop attempting to divide Americans among class, religious, and ethnic lines?

At an anti “Muslim Ban” rally Monday, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-People’s Republic of California) felt the need to remind Indiana Congressman Andre Carson, whom she’d already introduced as a “Muslim member of Congress,” to reiterate that point.

Carson: “Greetings from the great state of Indiana. I’m Congressman Andre Carson!”

Pelosi: (whispering) “Tell them you’re a Muslim. Tell them you’re a Muslim.”

He also told them he’s a former police officer, which doesn’t really gain him any points with that crowd.

No word from Pelosi’s camp on why she thought Carson, who’s starting his fourth term in Congress, needed help in remembering his religion.
