For the most part, Florida voters have represented Team Sanity in their Tuesday primary, particularly when it comes to the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) spoilers attempting to kneecap incumbent Democrats.

In the primary contest for the newly redrawn 25th Congressional District, incumbent Democrat Rep. Jared Moskowitz (FL-23) managed to pull out a win. Decision Desk HQ has projected that Moskowitz did more than just defeat DSA challenger Oliver Larkin. He trounced him 63 percent to 36 percent with 95 percent of precincts reporting.

U.S. Rep. Jared Moskowitz survived a challenge from his left Tuesday night, winning the Democratic Primary in Florida’s 25th Congressional District with more than 63% of the vote to defeat Democratic Socialist Oliver Larkin.

As opposed to the cowards in his party, Moskowitz refused to cease his support for Israel, gladly took money from AIPAC, and called out the antisemitic hatred infecting the Democrat Party. Larkin, a former Bernie Bro. had the backing of rabid anti-Israel Twitch streamer Hasan Piker, who held a fundraiser for Larkin.

Moskowitz rightly took a victory lap.

“Tonight, Democratic voters sent a clear message. I faced a challenge from the DSA (Democratic Socialists of America). They threw everything at me and I didn’t change who I am or what I believe, and the voters overwhelmingly chose the independent-minded approach I’ve brought to Congress,” Moskowitz said in a statement. “I led the effort to have Kristi Noem fired, I’ve taken on this Administration, and I’ve taken on extremes in the DSA and won. Now we’re running in a tough district hand-drawn by Republicans to defeat me, but I plan to win that too.”

After this win, Moskowitz also offered Hasan Piker his condolences, and it was chef's kiss.

District 25 was one of the districts that were redrawn to favor Republicans. Moskowitz will face Republican challenger and former Boca Raton Mayor Scott Singer in November.

Editor’s Note: The 2026 Midterms will determine the fate of President Trump’s America First agenda. Republicans must maintain control of both chambers of Congress.
