Democrats Use the Addicted and Marginalized for Their Political Ends, Then Discard Them

There are still many questions surrounding the attack on Paul Pelosi, this despite the release of the criminal complaint against alleged attacker David DePape.

It states DePape told officers he intended to take Nancy Pelosi hostage (constituting federal charges) and described her as the “‘leader of the pack’ of lies told by the Democratic Party.”

DePape told officers he wanted to talk to Nancy and if she were to tell him the “truth” he would let her go, but if she “lied” he intended to break “her kneecaps.” Per the complaint, he said it was to show other members of Congress there are “consequences to actions.”

Paul Pelosi told investigators that he had been asleep when DePape, whom he had never seen before, entered his bedroom looking for Nancy Pelosi.

So, if this was indeed the case, why did Democrats and the Left run with their shifting narratives? First, it was a break-in, then it was a political assassination attempt, until Democrats finally settled on the “winning election strategy” of blaming the political right and Republicans for fueling DePape’s alleged attack.

Because of all the initially disparate information on DePape, as well as conflicting reports about the state of both the Pelosi home and what transpired between DePape and Pelosi minutes before it turned violent, we still lack clear answers. The police who responded to Pelosi’s 911 call have since backtracked their original report that Pelosi and DePape were in their underwear; and that is only one point that has been scrubbed revised from the original reporting. As my colleague Bonchie surmised, the way Nancy Pelosi and the Democrat machine quickly covered up Paul Pelosi’s DUI arrest back in August, and the fact that the political dog of Republican violence is not hunting, we no doubt will see this assault ultimately disappear from the news cycle. The more the public and alternative media call for additional answers, transparency, and more importantly for any investigation: the video footage, the deeper the memory hole will become.

I am not here to offer another theory or rehash the already established reports. My concern is David DePape and his potential use by Democrats as a political pawn. While it has been sufficiently debunked by credible sources, legacy media is still attempting to paint DePape as a right-wing, QAnon conspiracy theorist who was so inflamed by Republican rhetoric that he broke into a heavily guarded home with a hammer in order to commit political violence against the Speaker of the House, as CBS News reports:

As set forth in the complaint, once DePape was restrained, officers secured a roll of tape, white rope, a second hammer, a pair of rubber and cloth gloves and zip ties from the crime scene, where officers also observed a broken glass door to the back porch.

However, knowing what we now know about DePape’s mental and physical state, this still strains credulity. DePape is the type of person that Democrats use in their scorched earth campaigns. Individuals with no established background, few ties to the community, or defined roots. People who have a history of erratic and questionable behavior. People who live on the margins.

Michael Shellenberger, a longtime San Francisco resident and activist, wrote about how the narrative being pushed about DePape from the legacy media and the Left is light years away from the reality.

And, as I discovered yesterday, DePape lived with a notorious local nudist in a Berkeley home, complete with a Black Lives Matter sign in the window and an LGBT rainbow flag, emblazoned with a marijuana symbol, hanging from a tree. A closer look reveals the characteristics of a homeless encampment, or what Europeans call “an open drug scene.” In the driveway, there is a broken-down camper van. On the street is a yellow school bus, which neighbors said DePape occasionally stayed in. Both are filled with garbage typical of such structures in homeless encampments. People come and go from the house and the vehicles, neighbors say, in part to partake in the use of a potent psychedelic drug, ibogaine.

Neighbors described DePape as a homeless addict with a politics that was, until recently, left-wing, but of secondary importance to his psychotic and paranoid behavior. “What I know about the family is that they’re very radical activists,” said one of DePape’s neighbors, a woman who only gave her first name, Trish. “They seem very left. They are all about the Black Lives Matter movement. Gay pride. But they’re very detached from reality. They have called the cops on several of the neighbors, including us, claiming that we are plotting against them. It’s really weird to see that they are willing to be so aggressive toward somebody else who is also a lefty.”

The drug ibogaine is a plant-derived psychedelic that has been used as a holistic means of addiction recovery. As Bonchie pointed out in his earlier article, the drug can cause heart problems, lead to death, and has not been embraced by the mainstream of medicine or holistic practitioners because of its unpredictable outcomes. Who knows what the drug has been doing to DePape’s body and mind?

The arrest photo of DePape was only released on Monday, which is quite unusual, and there has so far been no release of video footage. As stated above, the footage would go a long way in answering the legitimate questions that still linger.

The neighbors surrounding the grounds where DePape was last known to domicile were interviewed. They paint an unflattering portrait of a man who aligned with “nudist drug abusers,” and the woman interviewed alleged that the whole household was more “left leaning,” and that they were all “completely unhinged.”

Their statements do not align with anyone who considers themselves MAGA, let alone MAGA-adjacent. Make no mistake, whatever transpired at the Pelosi household, how it is being used is typical Democrat playbook.

Former Democrat mega-donor Ed Buck is an example of how the nefarious behavior of those closely aligned with the Democrat Party and its elite operatives is often hidden and whitewashed in order to protect high-profile people, their agenda, and their all-precious narrative. Managing Editor Jennifer Van Laar covered Buck’s eventual conviction after over a decade of known licentious behavior with Black, gay young men.

Former male model and Democrat donor Ed Buck was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison Thursday after being convicted of two counts of murder and seven counts of narcotics distribution. Buck, 67, preyed upon gay black men, many of them homeless, in his West Hollywood neighborhood, paying them for sex and injecting them with methamphetamines during the encounters. Two of those men died after Buck administered fatal doses; another man, now known as Dane Brown, “was repeatedly injected by Buck but survived and his harrowing account of being revived twice finally led to Buck’s arrest in 2019.” Brown’s encounters with Buck occurred after the two deaths Buck was eventually convicted of murder in occurred, but then-District Attorney Jackie Lacey had declined to press charges due to what she described as a lack of evidence.

Brown’s story showed that Buck was methodical and callous. As victim Gemmel Moore’s mother, LaTisha Nixon, alleged in a wrongful death civil suit against the creep, it seemed he had a “Tuskegee Experiment-like fetish.”

One committed independent journalist asked legitimate questions and dug deeper for over 11 years before anyone paid attention to what Buck was doing. Once an official police investigation was mounted and Buck was charged, the video evidence discovered was so disturbing that the judge felt the jury would need therapy if they were required to view them.

Buck was a major booster for Hillary Clinton’s failed 2016 presidential run. He regularly frequented the same circles as Paul and Nancy Pelosi, and as shown above, high-profile California state and national leaders gladly took his money while turning a blind eye to his destructive excesses.

In terms of the Paul Pelosi attack, no one is answering these legitimate questions:

  • If DePape was there for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, what led DePape to physically assault Paul Pelosi?
  • If DePape planned this, why did he not do his homework to see if Speaker Pelosi was even in residence?
  • How did DePape get past all those cameras and armed security?

The few reports about DePape himself from KRON and CNN echo Shellenberger’s findings of a young man who had a chronic pattern of homelessness and exhibited bizarre and dissociative behavior.

  • So, how could someone like that plan, let alone carry out an assassination attempt?

Whatever the motivations that will be given (if any), DePape is in a world of hurt.

The complaint charges DePape with one count of assault of an immediate family member of a United States official with the intent to retaliate against the official on account of the performance of official duties, which carries a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison.

DePape is also charged with one count of attempted kidnapping of a United States official on account of the performance of official duties, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.

San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins has said that “several other additional felonies” and state charges are also being considered. Bottom line: DePape will now have a permanent home—in the federal penitentiary.

Democrats and Leftists continue to push the Republican violence/assassination narrative, now abetted in part by the criminal complaint. They have already forgotten about DePape, who is so much detritus to be thrown on the trash heap.

Used and discarded. That’s how Democrats do.
