DJ Ferguson is a 31-year-old father of two children with another one the way. But he may not get to see his new baby.

I created this go fund me to help two of my best friends and their children during this very difficult time. As many of you know DJ has been in the hospital and away from his family since November 26, 2021.

He has had a long journey so far. He started out in Milford hospital where his lungs were completely filled with blood and fluid, caused by a hereditary heart issue. This issue has taken a toll on his body and his heart is currently functioning at an extremely low percentage. A combination of the low heart function, and heart medication caused three blood clots that required immediate surgery at UMASS. Healing from this surgery has been pretty difficult as he suffered damage to his left leg/foot and other complications. He is currently waiting in the hospital now to be transferred to Brigham & Women’s in Boston to under go surgery for his heart. Hospitals are now starting to shut down surgeries and the waiting process may take awhile.

Or it may be never. Thanks to the transplant policy at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, DJ Ferguson was removed from the transplant list because he is refusing to take the COVID vaccine.

His father David Ferguson spoke to the local Boston CBS 4 News on his behalf:

He says the 31-year-old is fighting for his life at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and in desperate need of a heart transplant. “My son has gone to the edge of death to stick to his guns and he’s been pushed to the limit,” Ferguson said.

The family says he was at the front of the line to receive a transplant but because he has not received the COVID-19 vaccination he is no longer eligible according to hospital policy. And Ferguson says his son refuses to get the shot.

“It’s kind of against his basic principles, he doesn’t believe in it. It’s a policy they are enforcing and so because he won’t get the shot, they took him off the list of a heart transplant,” Ferguson said.

A policy probably thought up by some so-called “public health expert.” Look around. How well have things been going in combatting this virus thanks to these supposed experts?

Inquiring minds want to know.

This young man has to lose his life because he will not comply to rules for a vaccine whose benefits are unproven, and right now, on shaky ground.

How many vaxxed and boosted people are still contracting COVID?

Yet, these are the people making decisions, as a son and young father’s life hangs in the balance. This reasoning is draconian and pure nonsense. The Annals of Internal Medicine released as study on Monday linking the vaccines to increased risk of myocarditis. So, why exactly does a young man who needs a new heart not putting that new heart at risk with this vaccine?

But the hospital has its policies, just like any other transplant program. Must. Follow. The. Science. Program.

Brigham and Women’s released a statement saying, “And like many other transplant programs in the United States – the COVID-19 vaccine is one of several vaccines and lifestyle behaviors required for transplant candidates in the Mass General Brigham system in order to create both the best chance for a successful operation and also the patient’s survival after transplantation.”

“[L]ifestyle behaviors?” Seriously? So, a drug addict could get a heart transplant sooner than someone who refuses a vaccine that is connected to heart issues in young men?

Dr. Arthur Caplan is Head of Medical Ethics at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. He says being vaccinated is necessary for this type of procedure. “Post any transplant, kidney, heart whatever, your immune system is shut off,” Caplan said. “The flu could kill you, a cold could kill you, COVID could kill you. The organs are scarce, we are not going to distribute them to someone who has a poor chance of living when others who are vaccinated have a better chance post-surgery of surviving.”

How does Dr. Caplan know his chances at living will be poor if he does not get this vaccine? COVID is not a death sentence, but apparently these so-called ethicists want to treat it as such. Basically he’s saying if you don’t do what we say, you do not deserve life—certainly not a life on your terms.

Dr. Robert Malone spoke to the crowd at the “Defeat the Mandates” Rally on Sunday, and he said this:

“If there is risk, there must be CHOICE.

“This is the fundamental bedrock truth of modern bioethics. To deny this is to deny human dignity.”

But apparently Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dr. Arthur Caplan care little about the dignity or the life DJ Ferguson. It’s not important to the Covidians that everyone gets a chance at life, it’s important that you COMPLY with their ends.
