This gives new meaning to the word, “Hangry”. What some people will do for Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles.

“A hungry gunman held up a California restaurant and demanded that workers ‘put all the chicken in the bag’ — after he was earlier kicked out for not wearing a face mask.

“The suspect walked into the Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles on Lake Avenue in Pasadena around 5:40 p.m., Pasadena police Lt. Marcia Taglioretti told KTLA.

“Robert Gonzalez, a cook at the restaurant, told the outlet the man was denied service after he refused to mask up, according to the outlet.

“He briefly left, but returned with a gun, according to Gonzalez.

“ ‘[He] was not after money,’ the worker told the outlet.

“ ‘The guy just said, “Put all the chicken in the bag,” ’ he added. ‘I understand we got some good chicken, but man.’ ”

“Man”, is right. And this is not even the original or BEST of the Roscoe’s restaurants in California.

This was reported in the New York Post, and the story was covered from Cleveland, to as far South as Raleigh, North Carolina! Amazeballs. Aside from the Rose Parade, there’s not much that happens in Pasadena that warrants national coverage.

Of course, in this Karenville part of Los Angeles County (I live here, trust me—people wear masks to exercise outside), the fixation was on the fact that the gunman refused to wear a mask. <insert *eyroll* emoji>

“Well…that tells you all you need to know about the character of non-maskers.”

The thread devolved from there, with the usual broad-brush connections between people who don’t wish to wear a mask and character extrapolation. The final reply nailed it:

I say, it’s all Biden’s fault.
