Kamala Harris' Team Attacks, but JD Vance Turns the Tables With a Savage Comeback

If there is one thing Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) excels at, it is dealing with a biased media. Each time he spars with hostile reporters, he reminds the nation why former President Donald Trump picked him as his running mate.

In a recent post on X, Vance put on a clinic on how to parry the media’s attacks – especially when they are trying to distract from issues that truly matter to American voters.

Kamala HQ posted a video of Vance walking away from reporters who were pressing him on the controversy surrounding North Carolina Lt. Gov. and current gubernatorial candidate Mark Robinson that arose from a recent CNN report. In the post, the account claimed Vance “rushes into other room” to avoid the question.

Vance expertly countered the false narrative, explaining that he was going to the doctor’s office because he was sick. Then, he expertly turned the focus on Vice President Kamala Harris’ record. “My comment on Mark Robinson is that Kamala Harris cast the deciding vote on the Inflation Explosion Act and because of that a lot of Americans can't afford groceries,” he wrote.

The situation with Robinson centers on controversial comments he allegedly made over ten years ago on a pornography website’s message board. Using the alias “minisoldr,” Robinson allegedly described himself as a “black Nazi” and expressed support for slavery, stating, “Slavery is not bad. Some people need to be slaves. I wish they would bring it back. I would certainly buy a few.”

His alleged remarks, which also included derogatory slurs about Jews and racial minorities, also featured incendiary comments about civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. They were found on a site called Nude Africa between 2008 and 2012.

Robinson denied writing the posts, referring to the allegations as “tabloid trash,” and refused to bow out of the governor’s race.

The candidate’s alleged comments also contradict his public stance on transgender issues. He admitted to watching transgender pornography on the message board, stating, “I like watching tranny on girl porn! That’s f****** hot!” according to CNN.

Vance’s response to these questions is the smartest he could have made. Instead of taking the bait and weighing on the Robinson situation, he placed the focus back where it should belong: On Harris’ poor performance as vice president.

Even better, he placed the focus on the number one issue affecting Americans today: Inflation and the economy. People are far more concerned about how they are going to afford to feed their families than what a politician posted on a forum years ago.

There have been several instances in which members of the press attempted to bog Vance down with less important issues. But the senator has typically responded by highlighting the problems our country is facing and Harris’ inability to solve them.

The reality is that the press seeks to distract from these matters because they know their favored candidate does not have any answers, nor could she implement them competently if she did. The Biden-Harris administration has shown over and over again that they are not equipped to deal with the economy, immigration, education, crime, healthcare, and other important issues that everyday Americans are facing.

Vance’s approach must be the primary way Trump and his team respond to the media when they attempt to hyperfocus on scandals and other distractions. The American people need to know that Team Trump understands what they truly care about instead of going on useless tangents.
