Here’s yet another story further highlighting how the progressive left has essentially abandoned the fight for women’s rights – unless it involves abortion, of course.
Over recent years, there has been a long list of stories showing what happens when sports organizations allow biological males to compete in women’s sports. Each of these tales affirms what common sense already tells us: Men have an unfair advantage against women because they are bigger, stronger, and faster.
But there are also plenty of stories showing that allowing men to play in women’s sports is not only unfair, it is also dangerous. RedState’s Ward Clark reported on footage that went viral on social media showing a male basketball player viciously throwing around female athletes on the court, injuring three members of the opposing team.
The coach on the all-female team was forced to forfeit the game because so many of his players were hurt and the remaining athletes expressed reservations about continuing to play against the male player.
But here's what makes this case remarkable: The Lowell team forfeited the game after the injuries suffered by three actual, you know, girls on their girls' team, but after explaining the reasons for their forfeiture in a statement, Lowell went on to include a Stockholm Syndrome-like statement weaseling their way around the fundamental issue, namely that a boy was allowed to unfairly overpower the girls on the court. (Emphasis added)
However, the statement also alluded to the remaining healthy girls expressing "concern" to their coach about continuing to play.
"Once the third was injured, the remaining five expressed concern to him about continuing to play. The players feared getting injured and not being able to compete in the playoffs.
"In an effort to maintain safety for his team, he decided to forfeit. The Charter School supports this decision and reiterates its values of both inclusivity and safety for all students. We take the standards set by the MIAA and our Board of Trustees seriously and strive to uphold them on and off the court. We also follow the guidance from the MIAA and state laws regarding equity and access for all student-athletes."

When you view the footage, you can see that no matter what the male player does to the female players, nobody bothers to intervene. Nobody so much as says anything about what is playing out on the floor. To put it succinctly: A biological male athlete tossed three females around like rag dolls on a basketball court and nobody did a damn thing about it.
The parents and staff simply allowed this to happen. Even now, there does not seem to be any backlash against what happened and what will continue to happen as long as schools and sports leagues allow biological males to compete against females in some misguided version of “inclusion.”
The reason why progressives have been so successful in pushing the transgender agenda in sports is because there are not enough regular folks who are willing to fight back. There can only be two reasons why a group of grown adults could sit and watch this violent situation play out: They believe it is the right thing to do, or they are too afraid to stand up and fight against it.
Those who fall into the former category are probably a lost cause for the most part. They have guzzled the Kool-Aid and are on board with the silly idea that there are no meaningful differences between men and women. For these people, it does not matter whether biological females are injured and deprived of athletic opportunities. What matters is that they compel everyone else to bend over backward to accommodate people’s mental health problems.
But I do not believe these folks represent the majority of adults.
From where I sit, it seems that most adults know that progressive gender ideology is a crock but are too afraid to stand up and say something. On one level, it is understandable. In some parts of the country, especially places like Massachusetts, progressives have created an environment that does not brook dissent. Playing the role of the child who could clearly see that the Emperor was butt naked could result in serious consequences if the rest of the community is not brave enough to speak out.
Progressives have taken to labeling anyone who thinks putting males in women’s sports is a horrible idea as a hateful bigot who wants transgender individuals to die. They have been quite vicious in how they enforce this belief system.
Still, this is no excuse. Women are being injured because there is not a sufficient number of people who are willing to stand up and say, “Enough!”
Because of this, people sit on their hands and watch men rough up women for sport.
What is particularly infuriating about this is that the level of cowardice being shown is completely irrational. There are far more people who don’t buy into gender ideology than those who do. To put it simply: We outnumber them. There should be no reason why anyone should sit on the sidelines and watch this evil happen. Imagine how things might turn out if everyone were willing to protest, show up at meetings, and pull their children from these schools? What if they didn’t allow their daughters to participate in sporting events that include men claiming to be women?
This whole thing could turn around almost overnight. Unfortunately, it appears that progressives have done a great job of making people afraid to oppose them. Until this changes, female athletes will continue to be placed in danger.
