President Donald Trump has changed the schedule. While he first said he would announce his SCOTUS pick on Thursday this week, Trump is now saying he will announce his choice tomorrow at 8 pm EST.
I have made my decision on who I will nominate for The United States Supreme Court. It will be announced live on Tuesday at 8:00 P.M. (W.H.)

There has been some talk of Trump nominating Judge Thomas Hardiman. The reason for this is Mitch McConnell has expressed he will not go the “nuclear option” route for Supreme Court nominees, and Chuck Schumer has promised Democrats will block any nominee not in “the mainstream” (i.e. in the spirit of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg). Hardiman is considered to be a “safer” pick for Trump to get through, but the concern is Hardiman is another Anthony Kennedy.
Patterico has a great piece on why Trump should not nominate him so be sure to check that out.
