Richard Spencer is the head of the President of the Nation Policy Institute. It’s a nice sounding name, but it is a white nationalist organization. Spencer is seen as one of the leaders in the alt-right movement. He was giving an interview to some filmmakers in Washington D.C. when a protester came along and punched Spencer in the face.

Spencer represents what is a “new breed” of white nationalists. Instead of white robes or skinned heads, the movement is represented by many people who are well-educated, well-read and know how to sell their ideology with new phrases and slogans such as “white genocide.”

I can’t say I feel sorry for him. The other guy should be punched in the face, too.
