To Crush Republicans Who Vote for This Budget Deal, Support These Groups

In the next seventy-two hours, many of you are going to be flooded with emails and direct mail from scam PACs. Like the group wanting you to give money to make [mc_name name=’Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC)’ chamber=’house’ mcid=’G000566′ ] Speaker, these groups exist as nothing more than operations to line the pockets of consultants.

They do not spend their money well and I cannot recommend them. Too many of them exist and are doing their best to rip off conservatives and dishearten you after you’ve given money and nothing has changed.

There are, however, a few groups that actually do put points on the board and that I do recommend you give money to. Avoid virtually every group labeled “tea party” or “committee to do [insert action item here]”. Instead, support these groups with proven track records of holding incumbent Republicans accountable for broken promises:

If you are giving to random tea party groups that send you email or want you to sign petitions, the odds are you are wasting your money. The groups listed above field ground game operations, target incumbents, and in many cases are willing to fund incumbent challengers.
