Rubio and Fiorina Win

Carly Fiorina won the debate. She needed an introduction to the nation and she got it.

[mc_name name=’Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’C001098′ ], for example, should have won the Planned Parenthood argument, but Fiorina made it emotional in a way Cruz did not. She challenged Democrats to actually watch the videos and the left knows she did damage. Pro-abortion groups are already attacking her.

She held her own against Donald Trump and was the first person on a debate stage to make Trump retreat. She also won on the question about the $10.00 bill, refusing to play gender and identity politics. On Hillary Clinton, she hit a home run with the line that flying on an airplane is “an activity, not an accomplishment.”

[mc_name name=’Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’R000595′ ] was the other candidate on stage who was able to turn every response into a story. On speaking spanish, he talked about his grandfather. On global warming, he made the left’s recommendations on global warming about their economic cost on the poor.

Fiorina, I think, is going to take votes away from probably everyone on the stage except Rubio.

Rubio is going to take donors from Bush, Kasich, Walker, and more.

They won.
