1. The Democratic Governors Association Spent $800,000.00 Attacking Barack Obama

“Major Democrat donors who wrote checks to the Democratic Governors Association funded a below-the-radar campaign that attacked President Obama and other Democrat all-stars, all in hopes of knocking off a strong GOP challenger.”…And that money was spent trying – and failing – to get rid of Terry Branstad in the primary by claiming that he was a liberal Obama supporter. If it had worked, it might have revived Chet Culver’s collapsing campaign; as it stands, it’s over three quarters of a million dollars of Democratic money piled on the ground and set on fire. 2. Deficits Are A Symptom. The Problem Is Spending.

Do deficits matter?Would you rather have a federal government that spends 15 cents of every dollar earned in this country, while taxing 12 and making up the difference by issuing debt – or a federal government that takes in and spends 30 cents of every dollar? I’d much prefer the former. The Democrats don’t want to have that conversation at all. Please click here for the rest of the post.

3. They all look alike to Sheila Jackson-Lee (D, TX-18).

I was sent this video of Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee’s announcement of the survival of South Vietnam to the present era with a simple “Words escape me.”For the benefit of any natural born damned fools that may have wandered in: there is no South Vietnam anymore. It was conquered by North Vietnam in 1975, shortly after a Democratic Congress – yes, the same political party as Rep. Jackson-Lee’s – defunded the defense of South Vietnam, in defiance of our promises made to that unhappy country as part of the cease-fire that ended the Vietnam War. They are not living together side by side as two countries. Because, well, again, the North Vietnamese conquered the South. If Rep. Jackson-Lee likes, she could go ask Rep. Joseph Cao (R, LA-02) for the details of that event… assuming, of course, that she can make herself believe that an Asian-American can speak real English just as good as a Democrat can. Please click here for the rest of the post.

4. Poll: 72% Disagree With Obama Oil Spill Policy

According to a new Bloomberg poll, American public opinion on the BP oil spill reflects common sense and a rejection of the Obama Administration’s legalistic overreaction. Please click here for the rest of the post.

5. Don’t Blink-Democrats Aren’t Done Killing Jobs Yet

While the Obama Administration takes its victory lap with the Democrats and their Union buddies over the job-killing Financial Reform bill they just passed, a host of other initiatives that would give special favors to Unions are waiting in the wings for the right time to be brought up for consideration. I say special favors because, unbeknownst to most of us, Unions made out like bandits today in the FinReg bill. Please click here for the rest of the post.
