The saber rattling from Iranian officials has been constant since the U.S. strike which killed Quds Force leader Qasem Soleimani last Friday. Iran offered an $80 million reward for the President’s head over the weekend. Today, the Iranian Parliament allocated €220 million to the Quds Force to avenge Soleimani’s death. Also, an IRGC General vowed that Muslims will pull Americans out of embassies and military bases and hang them blindfolded from trees.
Journalists and government officials have been making lists of potential targets in Israel and throughout the Middle East. But is it possible the Iranians might have something a little closer to home in mind?
In July 2018, shortly after President Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Iran Nuclear Deal, Qasem Soleimani delivered a speech in which he said, “Mr. Gambler, Trump! I’m telling you that we are close to you, exactly where you wouldn’t think that we are.”
What did Soleimani mean by that statement?
The Federalist’s Todd Bensman, a senior national security fellow for the Center for Immigration Studies explains:
Iranian avengers, in the form of Quds Force-supported Hezbollah operatives of the clandestine “Unit 910,” are stationed in cities across America, set to activate pending distant command on target lists they have painstakingly developed over time. Hezbollah operatives also are positioned throughout Latin America, where American officials and economic interests are ubiquitous, at least as close as Nicaragua.
We know Shiite Muslims from Lebanon have been recruited and trained to live in American cities as sleeper agents of Hezbollah’s so-called clandestine External Security Organization (ESO), known colloquially as Unit 910, because agents have been prosecuted over the years, leaving behind detailed public records. The most current source of public information about Unit 910 in America comes from two federal prosecutions that resulted in 2019 convictions.
These Lebanese immigrant terrorist spies were routinely sent home to train in weapons, spycraft, and killing on American soil as soon as they were eligible for useful U.S. citizenship and passports. Their main purpose from about 2007 until their 2017 arrests was to pose in plain sight as normal immigrant family men while they collected weapons and built target lists for when they were activated to strike, court records show.
How many other sleeper agents are here living among us, possibly waiting for orders?
Too bad the FBI was so preoccupied with spying on Donald Trump for all those years, they might have been able to identify and prosecute more of them.

In addition to the Hezbollah operatives, Fox News reported in July 2018 that one of the many concessions Obama made during negotiations for the Iran Nuclear deal may have been to grant U.S. citizenship to 2,500 Iranians.
During an interview with an Iranian newspaper, Hojjat al-Islam, Mojtaba Zolnour, then-chairman of Iran’s parliamentary nuclear committee, alleged that the Obama administration granted US citizenship to 2,500 Iranian officials and family members as part of the deal. Zolnour, who is said to be part of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s inner circle, claimed:
When Obama, during the negotiations about the JCPOA, decided to do a favor for these men, he granted citizenship to 2,500 Iranians and some officials started a competition over whose children could be part of these 2,500 Iranians.
If today these Iranians get deported from America, it will become clear who is complicit and sells the national interest like he is selling candies to America. It should be stated exactly which children of which authorities live in the United States and have received citizenship or residency.”
Zolnour estimated that “between 30 and 60 were studying in the U.S. while the rest of them were working in the country against our national interests.”
Apparently, like the Steele dossier, it is impossible to verify if Obama did or did not make this concession. In 2015, 23,000 Iranians were granted U.S. citizenship. I bet, if someone really wanted to find that information, it would be possible.
Although these allegations have not been confirmed, given our familiarity with the misconduct of Obama administration officials, Zolnour’s claim sounds very plausible. In fact, they seem almost trivial after hearing about other side deals then-Secretary of State John Kerry made to facilitate the agreement. Obama’s obsession with striking a nuclear deal with Iran dealt a blow to our national security and it is responsible for the situation we face today.
While the U.S. is beefing up security on U.S. facilities throughout the Middle East, it might be a good idea to shore up security here at home as well.
