Did ABC News Try to Pass off 2016 Gun Range Video as Footage of Turkey’s Military Bombing Kurd Civilians? Advertisement In a weekend broadcast, it sure looks like ABC News tried to pass off dramatic video from a 2016 Knob Creek (West Point, Kentucky) night shoot for footage of “Turkey’s military bombing of Kurd civilians.” A brief clip from the ABC broadcast can be viewed in the tweet below. Wow! ABC News is trying to pass gun range videos as combat footage from Syria pic.twitter.com/zfTWtwwSfZ — Wojciech Pawelczyk (@Woj_Pawelczyk) October 14, 2019 Here is the 2016 Knob Creek video which was uploaded in 2017. It sure looks like the same video, right down to the formation of the little white lights in the foreground, which are the cell phones of the people watching the shoot. You can see them clearly in the video. It’s possible this video was included by mistake, but knowing how the mainstream media operates, I doubt that very much. CORRECTION: We’ve taken down video that aired on “World News Tonight" Sunday and “Good Morning America” this morning that appeared to be from the Syrian border immediately after questions were raised about its accuracy. ABC News regrets the error. — Good Morning America (@GMA) October 14, 2019 Writer at RedState MBA, former financial consultant, options trader Mom of three grown children, grandmother Email Elizabeth at [email protected] Read more by Elizabeth Stauffer Recommended Elon Musk Tells the SEC What We All Wish We Could Tell the Federal Bureaucracy streiff WATCH: Bill Maher Loses It When Lib Scientist Refuses to Admit Men Have Advantage Over Women in Sports Rusty Weiss Does Trump's Inauguration Mean the End of Special Counsels?
