The Enforcement Of Voter ID Laws Is Now A Racist Act

CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin and Kansas Republican gubernatorial candidate Kris Kobach appeared on Anderson Cooper 360 to discuss voter ID laws. Toobin began with a verbal attack. (The segment starts at 4:25 on the above video.)

Toobin: Kris has devoted his entire career to stopping black people and poor people from voting, That’s been your goal for decades.

Kobach: That’s an outrageous accusation.

Toobin: Well, it’s completely true.

Apparently, believing that citizens must show a photo ID in order to vote means one is a racist and is intentionally trying to disenfranchise minority citizens. It makes no difference that a photo ID is required for everything from cashing a check to getting on an airplane.

Democrats find a way to bring every discussion back to race. They use accusations of racism like a club with which to bludgeon Republicans. Never before has the word been used with such frequency.

With such a large number of Republican retirements in the House this year as well as the tendency for the party currently occupying the White House to lose seats in the midterms, it’s been an uphill battle for Republicans. Because most polls currently favor the Democrats, they’ve grown especially combative in their rhetoric. And for most of them, the sky has been the limit. No insult is too outrageous, no accusation too low. Think Don Lemon, Nancy Pelosi, and Maxine Waters.

Sean Hannity included a clip of MSNBC’s Mika Brzinski warning her viewers to vote “D” because “our democracy is under attack with bombs targeting Trump’s enemies and shootings in synagogues by a nationalist imitating the President’s racist rants, the rhetoric of this racist, heartless, soulless man will lead to more violence. Yes, I said that.” (starts at 15:10 in the video below).

President Trump is no more responsible for the synagogue shooting than Bernie Sanders is for the assassination attempt on Steve Scalise. I often wonder if they actually believe the rubbish that comes out of their mouths sometimes. I suppose if it’s repeated enough,  they start to believe it. It becomes “their truth.”

Also included (at 5:00) is the Project Veritas undercover video of one of Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum’s staffers. He  exposed Gillum’s radicalism and was fired later that day.

Hannity discussed what a Democratic win in the House might look like starting with clips of Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff. And they are out for revenge. But he saved the best for last. Please watch Maxine Waters’ remarks (11:48 in the video) about what will become her new role if the Democrats take the House. It will scare the *&%* out of you, especially if you work in the financial community.

I will be the first African-American, the first woman to chair the powerful Financial Services Committee. That’s all of Wall Street, that’s all the insurance companies, that’s all the banks. What am I gonna do to you? What I’m gonna do to you is fair. I’m gonna do to you what you did to us. (Followed by wild applause from her supporters.)

Ooh, Maxine, you’re going to be so powerful. The pleasure in her eyes as she imagines just how powerful she will be is impossible to miss. Please don’t give this woman more power.

Civil rights activist and leader of the Congress for Racial Equality Nigel Innis appeared on Laura Ingraham’s show last night. Ingraham asked him why the left continues to make everything about race. His refreshing response comes at 10:44 in the video above.

Innis said:

In the past, it’s what they go to in their playbook. They can’t talk about the economy and the record low black and brown unemployment. I mean historic lows, since we’ve been recording these numbers.  So they go to their dirty bag of tricks and they pull out the race card…My father used to call it Racial Hustling. And the problem is and the reason we take this posture is we come from a civil rights organization, the Congress of Racial Equality where you want to talk about real voter suppression, you know three of our boys, Chaney, Turner and Goodman, that became martyrs to the civil rights revolution were murdered. They didn’t have to show an ID, they lost their lives. They were murdered by the Klan in Mississippi for registering people to vote.

Ingraham interjects and says, “To hear what’s happening today, we’ve made no progress.” Innis responded:

That’s an absurdity and it spits on the grave of all those braves whites and blacks that gave their lives for the civil rights revolution for the civil war a hundred years before then and it really sends the wrong message to young blacks young whites, Hispanics and Asian-Americans that they actually live in a country because of our constitution and because of the passage of the 14th Amendment that is the freest liberty embracing country not only in the world, but in the history of the world.

Throughout this election season, everything has come back to racism. Nearly every exchange between liberals and conservatives end with the conservative being labeled a racist. The Democrats have employed this weapon so often that the term itself is losing its potency. What would account for the left’s obsession with racism? It’s all about power. This year, we discovered the lengths that Obama’s top intelligence officials were willing to go to destroy Trump’s candidacy, and when that failed, his presidency. We watched as they tried to convict an innocent man of sexual assault with no evidence. We know they will do whatever it takes to reclaim their power.
