The Democrat accusation that President Trump was corruptly using foreign military aid as a cudgel to investigate his main political rival, has never held up to even the most cursory scrutiny. Here is why.

The past few weeks saw Democrat Presidential Primary debates followed by a debacle in Iowa, where the very folks who want to manage our health care, couldn’t count the caucus votes of the 32nd most populous state in the union. If you are like me, you’ve put on a few pounds due to excess popcorn consumption. Well folks, have a look at this, then go to Walmart, buy some more and try on the next size larger jeans.

Remember back when the leftists claimed that President Trump committed the impeachable offense of attempting to use foreign military aid as a cudgel? They claimed he attempted to coerce the government of Ukraine into investigating his “political rival,” Joe Biden and his son, Hunter. Recent events appear to have put paid to the long ludicrous assumption that Biden was ever a serious rival to Donald J. Trump. In the Iowa caucuses, Biden came in 4th place (at least that’s the best guess the smartest people in the room). In New Hampshire, the result was even more egregious—5th place.

Wait! But. But. But. The Polls! Not long after he entered the race, “the polls” had Biden as the “clear front runner,” garnering 46 percent of Democrat primary voters. Of course, the folks touting those polls, appear to be the same ones who trumpeted, JEB! who parlayed a standout poll performance (once leading the 2016 field with 22 percent against 16 other candidates) and 130 Million dollars, into a total of 3 delegates at the 2016 Republican convention.

How did this state of affairs occur? Some time back, I mentioned that former Vice President Biden wasn’t any sort of threat to President Trump and posited a number of reasons why.

First of all, the “Creepy Joe” factor. Joe Biden has a bad habit of invading people’s personal space, especially females—rubbing their shoulders and sniffing their hair. My good friend and colleague, Betsy Vaughn, lists a few examples below.

Then there are the former VP’s gaffes. They were bad enough when he was President Obama’s Second-in-Command—“Stand up and take a bow!” to a wheelchair-bound man. Now that he has a few more miles behind him the gaffes have gotten more frequent and worse. It has gotten so bad, that his staff is intensely managing his time to make sure he has as few late events as possible. There’s a term for what happens to Lunch Bucket Joe after 3:00 PM …he “sundowns.” He loses cognitive ability when he’s tired.

It’s gotten really bad when you insult a potential voter…in front of the cameras.

What is the cumulative effect of all this? Biden, the former prohibitive front runner and triple-threat to Donald Trump, came in 4th place in the Iowa caucuses and 5th place in the New Hampshire Primary. Of course, this isn’t anything new. As my sharp-as-a-tack colleague, Sister Toldjah, notes, Joe Biden, has never, ever won a Presidential Primary…not once.

So, let us recap. There is tons of footage of Biden groping women and sniffing their hair or talking about letting kids play with the hair on his legs. He is a walking and talking gaffe machine…who is getting worse. He has never won a Presidential Primary. Can someone tell me how anyone with two brain cells to rub together would consider him any kind of threat to President Donald J. Trump?

President Trump quite rightly never considered former Vice President Biden a political threat. Even if the bosses in the smoke-filled rooms manage to cheat Bernie Sanders out of the nomination and award it to Biden as a “lifetime achievement award,” he was never going to win the General Election. President Trump would do 3-5 rallies for each one that Biden did. Trump would flat out, outwork Biden. That means the major reason for the impeachment fiasco…has been thoroughly debunked. Advantage…Trump. .
