ANTIFA’s First Mass Killer?

ANTIFA’s First Mass Killer?

Most of us are pretty aware that the Dayton shooter had a public profile that aligned with leftist philosophy and groups like ANTIFA. “Dayton shooter Connor Betts may be antifa’s first mass killer,” is yesterday’s New York Post article that dives into more detail about this leftist killer than the rest of the Leftist press combined.

From the article,

“Kill every fascist,” the shooter declared in 2018 on twitter, echoing a rallying cry of antifa ideologues. Over the next year, his tweets became increasingly violent. “Nazis deserve death and nothing else,” he tweeted last October. Betts frequently flung the label “Nazi” at those with whom he disagreed online.

As a historical note, “Facist” and “Nazi” were the most vile appellations that could be hurled at you in the former Soviet Union, more proof that just because your team is all on the left side of the spectrum, doesn’t mean you will necessarily like each other. This is similar to some Blacks’ antipathy for Jews and Homosexuals (Jessi Jackson’s “Hymie town,” comment) or Al Sharpton’s (“You ain’t nothing, you a punk faggot. Now come on, do something!”).

The article goes on to point out the the difference between how the leftists treated mentions of the El Paso killer, trumpeting his “manifesto” while trying to link him to The President. Contrast that to the virtual silence regarding the one in Dayton, once they found out there was no question about his leftist leanings and support for a leading Democrat Presidential candidate.

Democratic presidential candidates Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris and Bernie Sanders succinctly condemned white nationalism — the ideology espoused by the El Paso shooter in his purported 2,300-word manifesto.

However, when it comes to condemning the Dayton shooter’s militant far-left views, all remain mum. Others, such as anti-police activist Shaun King, even claimed the Dayton shooter targeted blacks in a hate crime, though racism doesn’t appear to have been a component of his twisted worldview.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, the hypocrisy and sheer political vindictiveness of the Leftists is breathtaking. Knowing full well that the Dayton shooter displayed not one whit of any kind of racist intent, they still use his actions to promote the idea of a white supremacy epidemic and advocate for the confiscation of firearms.

Mention of ANTIFA? It almost had to be squeezed out of them. I’d say what we have at the end of the day, usa a public that has been diverted from the fact that ANTIFA might just have scored their first mass murder.
