How petty can Speaker Pelosi be?

NPR ran an article yesterday entitled, “Speaker Pelosi Revokes Vice President Pence’s House Office Space.” From the article,

The speaker giveth, and the speaker taketh away.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., has reclaimed office space her predecessor, Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., awarded to Vice President Pence.

Further down, in a less combative, more explanatory tone,

The speaker has sole authority to dole out office space in the Capitol, which is prized real estate for members of leadership and senior staff. While Pelosi revoked Pence’s office privileges, the aide said she is providing new office space for the White House legislative affairs team that it did not previously enjoy under the GOP majority.

OK NPR, which is it? Is Speaker Pelosi acquiescing to a request from the Republican White House for some needed space, or is she being her usual Petty Pelosi, using her office’s administrative authority to jab at Vice President Mike Pence, a stand up guy if we’ve ever seen one?

I report you decide.
