The new Washington Post-ABC News poll released Sunday finds that Americans prefer ObamaCare over the Republican replacement bill by a two-to-one margin.
When asked, “What do you prefer: the current federal health care law, known as Obamacare, or the Republican plan to replace it,” respondents chose ObamaCare over the Republican replacement 50 percent top 24 percent. preferred ObamaCare over the republican replacement 49 percent to 20 percent.
According to the Washington Post, One in 10 Democrats about 2 in 10 Republicans and independents volunteered unprompted that they preferred some other proposal, or neither.
The Post-ABC poll was conducted July 10-13 and has a margin of error for overall results of plus or minus 3.5 percent.
It isn’t surprising that voters don’t like the Republicans’ ObamaCare replacement bill, because it doesn’t really repeal ObamaCare and everyone knows it.
